I've got a major thing for brows; after finally discovering last year how amazing a filled in brow can look and transform the face, I've not been able to go 'bare-browed' at all. I've been trying out a lot of different brow products, powders, pencils, liners etc and some work great, others not so much (I can't get powders to work for me). Brow pencils and liners are my favourite sort to run through the brows and create the shape I desire and the Za Brow Liner* does that job pretty darn well.

Australis Cosmetics is definitely one of my favourite brands to get at the 'drugstore' (well, what we call Farmers here in NZ). I use many of their products regularly and have loved a lot of them that I've tried. Their Mineral Lipsticks are awesome, the Brow Pencil is my go-to every single day (see it in this haul here) and the Velourlips have matte, long lasting lip colour covered. I was recently sent a very generous goodie bag packed with some products to try out and review, so here is the selection of some of their base products.

Sometimes a bit of gold is all you need on the nails and this Liquid Sand polish from OPI has an amazing finish and is a perfect one for wearing around Christmas (which is fast approaching!)

Blurring primers and products like this seem to be all over the market at the moment. They all promise to make you look younger, blur wrinkles, pores etc - you name it, they all claim it. I've only used a couple of these, but so far the Garnier Perfect Blur is one of my favourites out there (it also featured in my Most Loved September).

You can't not look at these and instantly think how damn cute they are! These are two of the UK brand Makeup Revolution's cheaper option (or dupes) to the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush.

UK based Sleek MakeUp is a brand I totally love; I've tried a lot of their face products and eye shadow palettes, but never delved into their lip products. I was recently sent this Pout Polish by the lovely team at Beauty Bliss and it is fast becoming a summer staple.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this image here of the bulk lot of OPI nail polishes I managed to score from a FB buy/sell group. Well, this gorgeous lilac shade came from the lot and I think it is perfect for summer!

I've been sitting on this review for a while now as I got this Maybelline Baby Skin Primer ages ago in a Drugstore.com (see the post about it here), basically because I kinda like it, but then I kinda don't at all. Let me tell you why...

Nude lips have become absolutely massive over the past couple of month's due to a certain Kardashian-Jenner sister and the whole 90s revival thing, and I'll admit I totally jumped on this trend, big time. I've always loved a good neutral lip shade, but I always lean towards the pink toned shades, but lately the browner the better (a statement only to be said while talking about lip products).

I recently was asked by Beauty Bliss to be included in their list of NZ beauty bloggers and vloggers, and with that came a little parcel filled with some products for me to try out and review. This beautiful Sleek i-Divine Eye Shadow Palette was included and to say I was excited about it is an understatement. I have one other Sleek palette (Snapshots palette, review + swatches here) and was very impressed with the quality, so I knew this was going to be just as good!

I absolutely love blue and green tones on the nails, especially as we get into much warmer weather here in New Zealand. I recently got this shade in a Cherry Culture haul I did and I pretty much got it onto my nails as soon as I could!

I've been lucky to try out some skincare items from NZ brand Living Nature (see reviews of the Skin Steps Kit here and Manuka Honey Gel here), but I've not tried their makeup range, although I've always been curious about it. They recently released this beautiful new lipstick in the shade Bloom* in support of the Breast Cancer Network NZ, with $1 from every sale going to support BCN, and now that I've tried this lipstick I'm eyeing up a lot more from the makeup range!

I'd be surprised if you haven't heard about the UK brand Makeup Revolution (especially if you are an avid reader of CM!) It exploded into the beauty world with super affordable products that look very similar to its higher end counterparts. You can see my big haul post here and the review of the cream and powder blushes here, but today I am talking about a couple of products from the the 'Vivid' range.

ARTDECO is a brand I've been a big fan of since stands started popping up in Farmers last year, although I've only tried a few products (see reviews for their eye shadows here and Bronzing Glow Blusher here) I've really loved them. A brand new release is hitting stands this November dubbed the Lip Innovators*, three lip products designed to help enhance and transform the lips.

Sunday only means one thing, the Weekly Post Collective! This week was spent working, writing and sorting out blog post for the rest of November (I'm very proud of my organisation) and just generally relaxing and catching up on my YouTube 'watch later' list. You might notice a few tweaks to my blog design as I finally got around to adding a navigation bar, with a new About page, Disclaimer and drop down menu with posts organised into categories to make it a bit easier to navigate around. It took almost half a day to get it all sorted (HTML and all), so I'm pretty pleased with my efforts! As for the posts, things were as per, with some reviews, some nail love and a haul.

I am definitely one of those people who will always gravitate to dental products that have 'whitening' written on them, or will improve the colour of my teeth. I've got the mouth wash, the toothbrush, the pen, all in the hopes of getting whiter teeth. Although these things do work overtime they don't give amazing results, so when I was contacted and asked if I would like to try out a new teeth whitening system now available in NZ called Opalescence Go* from Ultradent I jumped at the chance. I mean, who doesn't want to have whiter teeth, right?

I love bright polishes and bold glitters, don't get me wrong, but there is something timeless and classic about a good nude nail polish. I love bold white too (like Essie Blanc), but for something that is a little more subtle and natural, these are the few I always reach for.

If you're a long time reader of CM, you'll know I love a good sale and just can't resist them. So when Cherry Culture had there annual 40% off everything sale, I went a little bit gaga for all the makeup! My cart ended up being very packed, but I managed to cut it down, whilst still picking up some items I've had on my 'to buy' list for a while from NYX and China Glaze.

Today's NOTD could not be any more girly, with pink on pink with lots of added glitter to the mix!

I had a pretty amazing week; I finished my last ever uni exam yesterday, so I now have two degrees up my sleeve, and then my parents surprised my sister and I with a trip to San Francisco and Seattle in a few weeks time (keep an eye out for some Sephora haulin' coming your way!) Really things can't get much better than that! The blog this week was packed with the usual October round up posts, as well as some reviews thrown in there too.
