So it seems as though Lust Have It had a bit of a problem with shipping out the boxes, because I pretty much received the August and September Women's Beauty Boxes within a few days of each other (see the unboxing for both of them here). But they seem to be back on track and the October Women's Beauty Box* has just arrived and it's a jam packed one once again! I'll have my usual End of Month Review for the August and September Boxes up in a week or so as I am still making my way through trying out all of the products!
The October bag contained six items, five full size and one sample size. It's a great mix of brands that I'm familiar with, but a couple of others that I look forward to trying out, plus there is a good mix of makeup and skincare items included in this particular one.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi Purpose Dry Oil // [RRP $24.95/$39.95 for 50ml/100ml]
I've had a couple of samples of Nuxe products to try out before and they've all been pretty outstanding and I always hear great things about the brand as a whole. This is a cute little 10ml glass bottle of their dry oil designed for the face, body or even hair. It is packed with plant oils such as, Macadamia, Hazelnut, Borage, Sweet Almond, Camellia and St. John's Wort, all made to soften the skin and reduce stretch marks. I really look forward to using this one!
Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa Mask // [RRP $4.99 for one mask]
Over the years I've used a few of these single sachet masks (the chocolate one is amazing), so this one sounds intriguing. It is a sheet mask which I don't have a lot of luck with (i.e. not fitting my face properly); hopefully this one will be a little bit better.
So Susan Intense Eye Shadow Palette with Coated Pigments // [RRP $35.00]
This unusual brand pops up in a lot of sample boxes that I've received (for example, a mascara in a Violet box here), plus I also bought a palette from the Sample Bar shop a long time ago (see the review of it here). It's an odd one; personally I think the prices are a bit ridiculous for the actual products. The packaging on this feels extremely cheap and flimsy (even the sponge applicator broke), at the very least they could put a mirror in maybe! I do love the box design, but I know, it's all down to the eye shadows. They seem to have good pigmentation on swatching them, but it will all be down to how they actually wear and blend on the lid.
Colour By TBN Lipstick in 886 A Kiss Is Still A Kiss // [RRP $3.50]
When I first opened the bag I thought they had included a Revlon lipstick, I mean look how similar the packaging is to the Lip Butters (review here)! It's actually from a very affordable Australian brand that I've never heard of and I'm surprised at how creamy and pigmented this lipstick swatched! I'm not to sure how this shade will look on me, but I'll be giving it a go.
Inika Black Kohl Pencil with Sharpener // [RRP $29.00]
I've heard about this brand but never tried anything from them, so was extremely excited to see this in the bag and it's probably my favourite product from the bunch. You can't go wrong with a black kohl pencil, and this one seems very pigmented and it's all organic as well!
Glamourflage Awesome Eva Eye Mask // [RRP $7.95]
I was actually about to go out and buy myself an eye mask/blindfold because I am travelling over to the US in a few days (well technically I am actually already in the US, but this post was written last week and scheduled to go up, but shhh...), so it was perfect that this one arrived in the bag! It's going to be a life saver on the long flight, plus I love a bit of leopard print!
This was another amazing month full of goodies from Lust Have It; I'm so happy with the products and the service is great (now they are running on time with the deliveries!). The overall value of the items from the October bag comes in at around $85.00, with five out of the size items being full sized. This particular service is AUD $19.95 a month, but you can use the code CASSMYEE to get $5 off your first box!
Did you get the October bag/box? What products are you excited to try? Or if you have used any of these items, let me know your thoughts!
