THE NUDE LIP ROUND UP

THE EIGHT // Nude Lips - CassandraMyee

Nude lips have become absolutely massive over the past couple of month's due to a certain Kardashian-Jenner sister and the whole 90s revival thing, and I'll admit I totally jumped on this trend, big time. I've always loved a good neutral lip shade, but I always lean towards the pink toned shades, but lately the browner the better (a statement only to be said while talking about lip products).

THE CRAYONS + LACQUERS
As an almost 'introduction' to the browny-nude lip thing, the Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturising Balm Stain in Nude Chic is a winner. It's cheap, goes on smooth with a good amount of sheer colour to give you that nude lip look without the hassle. Some of my favourite nude lips come in the form of the matte, long-lasting lip colours such as the Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream in Pa-ree and the MUA Luxe Velvet Matte Lip Lacquer in Tranquility (more on these here). For a more pinkier toned option, but still very much a gorgeous nude is an absolute favourite in the form of e.l.f Matte Lip Color in Natural (review of these here).

THE LIPSTICKS
In bullet form, these are four that I always reach for. Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in 03 is super pigmented and glides onto the lips with ease, much like the Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Mambo (more about this here), which is a bit of a lighter tone but again very creamy and beautiful. The super cheap and cheerful Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick in Bare It All is matte, without being drying and hits the nail on the head with the nude lip trend. For something a bit more on the peachy side, Lime Crime Opaque Cream Lipstick in Coquette (review here) is amazingly pigmented and the unicorn packaging is too beautiful to pass up.

I really do have a slightly obsession with these sort of tones at the moment; they go with any sort of eye look and even with any outfit too. I'd love to know what your go-to nude lip product is, I'm always looking for new ones to add to my collection!
