November was seriously a jam packed month (as you will see in my Instagram Round Up), but I still managed to get through a number of products, some makeup, but mostly skincare items; so here's my thoughts on each one.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara [Mini Size]
I absolutely love this mascara and was sad to see this mini come to end, but while I was in the States last week I bought a full sized and also got another travel size in the La Belle Carousel set. This gives awesome length and volume and I think I can safely say it is my favourite mascara of the moment!
Beauty Formulas Australian Tea Tree Deep Cleansing Nose Pore Strips
I've been through a few boxes of these pore strips; they're easy to find (I get them at Postie) and they do a great job at cleansing the pores around the nose. The tea tree is great for cleaning as well as treating the nose area, especially good if you have blackheads or acne. I'll definitely be buying another box of these.
Living Nature Vitalising Cleanser*
I blogged about this a couple of months back as it came with the Skin Steps Kit (see it here). This is a really gentle and light cleanser that does a good job at cleaning the skin and removing traces of makeup. It's nothing revolutionary, but it does the job well!
Garnier Perfect Blur 5 Sec Smoothing Base Perfector
The other day I posted up my review of this primer/blur cream (read it here) and I am a huge fan of this as a primer. I have only got through one tube and as you can see I rushed out a bought another one long before I had even finished the first because I just didn't want to go without it! It really does work to fill in pores with a thick silicon feeling cream/paste. I'll definitely continue to purchase this; it's fast become a bit of a holy grail item for me!
Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream [Mini Size]
This adorable little pottle of eye cream lasted me a heck of a long time, as a little goes a long way. It was a relatively thick cream that gave a lot of hydration and moisture to the under eye area. I really enjoyed using this and I am considering buying the full sized pottle which is NZD $64 from Smith & Caugheys or USD $34.00 direct from the Benefit website.
The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner
This is my toner of choice at the moment as I am loving the entire Seaweed range. It does an awesome job of removing any makeup I may have missed after cleansing, but doesn't dry out my skin. I'll be purchasing this again... and again... and again!
Maybelline Makeup Remover Eye & Lip Remover
If you are a regular reader of CM, you'll know by now that I love this makeup remover. It does an amazing job at removing a lot of different mascaras, even the most difficult (i.e. Benefit They're Real). This is another of my holy grails and I couldn't recommend it enough (plus it's pretty cheap at around $9!)
e.l.f. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths
I recently bought these to try out from iHerb as they were super cheap at USD $3.00. They were really great wipes, but they were quite thin and would tear really easily, although they removed makeup in a couple of swipes. I'll probably buy them again purely because they are so cheap and in my next iHerb order I'll be stocking up!
And that wrap's up another month of product empties! I'd love to know if you have tried any of these products and what you think about them.
