CHI CHI | Glamorous Eye Shadow Collection NUDES - Review + Swatches

CHI CHI // Glamorous Eye Shadow Collection NUDES | Review + Swatches

Yesterday I featured the Elegant palette from the Chi Chi Glamorous Eye Shadow Collection range, and today I've got the Nudes coming attacha. This is easily my favourite from the two and was the one I knew I definitely want to get first, because I had heard it is almost a perfect dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palette (but more on that later).

Like the Elegant palette, this one is in the same basic plastic packaging (but this time around the pans are a little straighter!) It has 12 shadows, with only two of them being matte (a lighter and darker brown), the others are all shimmery to some extent, and all amazing!

FIRST SIX | The first shadows are all lighter tones, with a gorgeous shimmery cream highlight and some amazing everyday bronzey neutrals.

LAST SIX | These get down into the darker spectrum of shades and these ones make the palette for me. They all have an amazing finish, and the gunmetal blue at the end is just a pretty amazing shadow.

Much like the Elegant palette, these are amazing quality and I actually think the quality on this palette is better as the metallic/shimmer shades aren't as chunky as in the Elegant palette. All of them have outstanding pigmentation and they are comparable to the Naked palette range from Urban Decay. They are all easy to blend, stay put on the eyes with minimal fading, and as you can see the colour range is spot on.

Now I have the UD Naked 2 and 3, as well as the Basics, but haven't got around to buying the original one. I had seen a lot of people comparing this particular palette to the Naked original, and as you can see the colours are pretty much identical with only a slightly variation on a few shades. I do think the UD palette have a more buttery and soft feeling to their shadows, but this is very close to them and a great alternative if you don't want to pay the higher price tag.

You can get the Nudes palette via. the Chi Chi Australia website for AUD $22.95 and they offer shipping worldwide. If you're in NZ, you can find the range at Farmers and these palettes are a little over NZD $30.00.

So what do you think of the Nudes palette? Do you have any of these palettes in your makeup stash?
