I love bright polishes and bold glitters, don't get me wrong, but there is something timeless and classic about a good nude nail polish. I love bold white too (like Essie Blanc), but for something that is a little more subtle and natural, these are the few I always reach for.
All swatches show two coats. |
Formula X for Sephora Invincible | This is a little mini size of one of the Formula X polishes, which you can see in a NOTD post here, and is one I love. It's a gorgeous warm, light creamy shade, described as 'warm vanilla'.
Ciaté Amazing Grace | For a sheer wash of neutral, this shade from Ciaté ticks all the boxes. It is more of a light pinky nude, but still has the nude look.
OPI Bubble Bath | This is probably one of the most famous OPI shades and is one I have only recently got around to buying! It has a pinky tone much like Amazing Grace, but it has a much stronger pigment to it.
Revlon Colorstay Natural Pink | Revlon polishes are top notch and this range is particularly awesome. It's called Natural Pink, but only has a hint of pinkness to it and sits perfectly in the 'nude nail' familly
OPI Samoan Sand | You might be surprised to find that this was my very first OPI bottle I bought and it's my most used too! This is the definition of 'nude', it is more brown toned than the others and it looks great on the nails for a no-fuss and classic manicure.
