KISS AND MAKEUP | Haul + Thoughts - Cassandra Myee

I feel as though I need to start this post with a reintroduction because it has been MONTHS since I last posted (since early February to be exact). 2020 has really been a very unforgiving year for all of us and my brainpower and mental state could only manage to cope with so much and unfortunately, it meant my blog got put on the back burner. It's not to say that I still haven't been buying new things and trying new products, because I still love doing that but I just haven't been able to think about posting about them! I have been doing the odd posts on Instagram and I am now slowly trying to get my groove back and create some new content.

So my first post back in a while is a classic CM style post, a beauty haul from a brand new New Zealand online beauty retailer, Kiss and Makeup who just launched in July. They kindly offered me a gift voucher to spend on their website, so I'm here to share my experiences and the products I bought.

Not a month goes by that I don't find myself finishing a whole load of different products at once. If you regularly read my Empties posts, you'll see I tend to finish a lot of things, I don't think I use too much of a product but I always make it my aim to stick with the products otherwise as a blogger I would end up having 20 different moisturisers on the go and I would never get through them! The July's Empties is a hefty one, so let's get started.

There's nothing like a new liquid lipstick release to make me sit up and pay attention. Liquid lipsticks (usually of the matte variety) are my go-to formula for lip products because I like the matte finish on me and I like that you can put one on and not worry about it for a while! Also just a little note, I won't have a Most Loved post up for November, which will probably be the first month ever since I started my blog that I haven't posted it but there just wasn't anything that stood out to me. I am all about the brows, and if someone asked one of my top makeup products to have it would definitely be something to fill in the brows. Naturally, mine are quite light and thin and not very full at all so when I discovered the magic a brow pencil could do, I didn't look back. To be honest, I feel quite naked without something through the brows, so I always have a few different products on the go.
