I have been meaning to get this post up for AGES now, but I have been a bit of a slack blogger of late. Better late than never though, and today I will be sharing some super cute beauty products from Tonymoly that are part of their Pokemon range. My young inner self is losing its shit over this collection because I am a Pokemon fanatic from way back - the show, the cards, the games, toys, you name it I probably had it! I even had a Pikachu backpack! Now in my late 20s, I can still enjoy Pokemon and get away with it because they're makeup products!

I own a lot of makeup brushes, anyone would say I have far too many for one face and I would agree, but I just can't help buying and trying new ones. There is one brand I am always faithful too and that is Real Techniques developed by Youtube/beauty powerhouses Sam + Nic Chapman. I have a lot of their sets and single brushes, and recently bought some of their stunning and totally luxe Bold Metals (see them here). I was in the need of a new Miracle Complexion Sponge, and came across this; the Ultimate Base Set.

If you were to ask me what brand of makeup brushes would I recommend, my answer will always be Real Techniques. There are so many makeup brushes out there, of course, M.A.C brushes are amazing, and those higher end makeup counters do some amazing brushes, but honestly I just don't have the moolah to drop $70 on a single brush. For quality and affordability, Real Techniques nail it with a great range, innovative brushes and unique designs. They recently bought out the Bold Metals range, which is more luxurious and expensive, and absolutely stunning.

I had been wanting to try out these brushes since their release and luckily nabbed this set on iHerb (where I buy all my Real Techniques from as it's the cheapest), which was dramatically reduced for the day to $35.00. So are they worth the hype?

It focuses on health and natural products, and you can get all sort of things on there, supplements, food and cosmetics for example. I'm a big fan of iHerb for their beauty section, with affordable brands like e.l.f., and great prices on Real Techniques products. This was a relatively smaller haul in comparison to some others I have done (just search iHerb to find them), but I restocked on some essentials and added some new things to try to my cart as well.

If you live under a rock (sorry about that if you do...), RT was started by vlogging sisters and makeup artists Sam and Nic Chapman from Pixiwoo. I've been using their brushes for years now and I can always rely on them to be amazing quality, but also really affordable, and this new set is no exception.

It's been a long time since I made an iHerb haul and it was about time I spent some of my credit building up and finally get some products I've been wanting for a while.
