COLLECTIVE HAUL | Auckland Trip + iHerb

COLLECTIVE HAUL // Auckland Trip + iHerb - CassandraMyee

A couple of weekends ago I took a trip up to Auckland to go and see one of my favourite artists of all time, Justin Timberlake. Words really cannot express how incredible the concert was and seeing him live is something I'll never forget - that man just has it all going on (Jessica Biel is one lucky lady). I also got up to a bit of shopping for various homeware bits, some reading material and of course, some beauty buys. I also came home to an iHerb package which I thought I would include the couple of items I got at the end.

READING MATERIAL
Technically I actually got the Mollie Makes Blogging magazine while I was in Wellington the weekend before for Wearable Arts (yes, I've been all over the place this month!), but I had to include it because it is such a helpful and resourceful magazine. It's a one off thing (I wish it was a monthly thing though!) and it is packed with helpful tips, tricks and knowledge on social media, HTML stuff etc, if you're a blogger or wanting to start a blog, this is a must read. I also picked up the humongous September issue of Vogue, which is mostly all advertisements, but they are so beautiful to look at I don't mind at all!

HOMEWARE + STATIONARY
My sister and I absolutely love the shop Flo&Frankie in Newmarket (which I snapped some picture of in a travel post here) and we were pretty excited to see they had opened up a separate homeware shop next door. It is my homeware dream in there and I could happily deck my house out with all the beautiful bits from there. I only picked up one thing which was this gorgeous balsa wood box for $14.95, with a geometric, triangular print on top (I am very partial to geometric things).

I was then drawn into the shop Jimina because of all the stationary and accessories and I walked into a notebook filled dream! I managed to only come out with two notebooks, one with cats on it (how typical of me) and one with a reverse black&white 'Merci' on each side. They were only $5 each and they're perfect blogging ideas notebooks!

BEAUTY | Smith & Caugheys
I was very lucky to have won a $250 voucher for doing an online survey a few months ago and I was hanging out until I got up to Auckland to spend it. It was so fun (and very easy) to spend! I've been lusting over the Balenciaga Rosabotanica Perfume ever since it was released, so that was the first thing I got. I then decided on my first ever YSL Lipstick from the Rouge Volupte range in Shade 1 Nude Beige. That lipstick is a beautiful thing, keep an eye out for a whole post dedicated to it!

BEAUTY | Makeup Outlet
My sis and I were also very excited to see a very well stock, well organised and well laid out makeup outlet style shop in Newmarket with some super cheap beauty bits inside! I went for this cute duo of two mini Essie polishes in the shades Meet Me at Sunset and Smooth Sailing. I also couldn't go past the Maybelline lipsticks and got two; Color Sensational The Shine Lip Color in 140 Juicy Bubblegum and Color Sensational Lipstick in 995 Violet Intrigue. They are both gorgeous, and have great pigmentation.

BEAUTY | The Magazine Freebie
I'm a sucker for a magazine that has a free makeup item attached and in this month's Cleo mag they have a range of Za Cosmetics products to chose from. I went for the Perfect Action Mascara, and so far it is a really great mascara!

BEAUTY | iHerb
I love coming home to packages and there was a big one from iHerb waiting for me. I ordered about 3 packets of various sorts of chips (the Stacey's Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips are seriously delicious) and also the brand new Real Techniques Nic's Picks set, which will be featured on the blog soon. I thought I'd just share the couple of the other beauty items I got, including a replacement Miracle Complexion Sponge from Real Techniques, as my original one is looking a little worse for wear. I've also been wanting this lipstick for a while but it is always sold out; it's the e.l.f. Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph.

And that concludes a mighty big haul! I love doing these collective hauls that aren't all beauty (I do buy a lot of non-beauty things, although it may not seem like it!) Let me know what you think about my gigantic collective haul in the comments, I always love reading and replying to you all!
