URBAN DECAY | Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette - Review + Swatches

URBAN DECAY | Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

I have started something quite dangerous with the Urban Decay Naked Palettes... as soon as a new one comes out it instantly jumps to the top of my wishlist. This results in me buying pretty much all of them as they come out which is dangerous because I know they won't stop bringing out different iterations and I will be overrun with more eyeshadow than I could ever need in my lifetime! Despite this, I still love all of them that are released and love the quality of the shadows so I know I won't be disappointed. The new Naked Reloaded Palette can be considered as the replacement of the OG Naked Palette that kicked off the phenomenon.

You will know by now I am a sucker for every Naked palette that Urban Decay release. I am not so fussed about the other palettes they bring out from time to time but I know I am always going to love the Naked varieties. The Naked Cherry Palette was released last year and I have been using it a lot of the past few months since I got it for Christmas.

DESIGNER BRANDS | New Palettes + Retractable Eyeliners - Review + Swatches

DESIGNER BRANDS | New Palettes + Retractable Eyeliners - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

I have always loved affordable makeup, of course, I love luxury products but my bank account doesn't, so I tend to always go for the 'drugstore' brands. In all honesty, I think some of these brands have some stand out products, and they definitely shouldn't be overlooked. Designer Brands is what I would classify as a 'drugstore' brand that is sold in pharmacies here in New Zealand and Australia. It's an Australian brand and has been around for ages! Their range is vegan and cruelty-free and basically, all of the products are under $30, if not under $20. They recently released some new eyeshadow palettes* and liners* that are well worth checking out.

COLOURPOP | Take Me Home Mini Shadow Palette - Review + Swatches

COLOURPOP | Take Me Home Mini Shadow Palette - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

This post has been parked at the bottom of my drafts, only to have just been discovered now! Unfortunately, this palette; the adorable Take Me Home Mini Shadow Palette, is no longer available on Colourpop but most of the shades included are available as single shadows or in other palettes so this should hopefully still be a relevant and helpful review. If you already own this palette, you are very lucky because I think it's such a high-quality palette with some perfect shades included.

URBAN DECAY | Naked Petite Heat Palette - Review + Swatches

I can pretty much guarantee that most palettes that Urban Decay bring out are going to impress me. I am easily convinced and when one of their 'Naked' ranges drops, I am on to Mecca so quick to snap one up. One of my latest additions that I have been loving the past few months is the Naked Heat's little sister - the Naked Petite Heat Palette.

TOO FACED | Chocolate Gold Metallic/Matte Eyeshadow Palette - Review + Swatches

TOO FACED | Chocolate Gold Metallic/Matte Eyeshadow Palette - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

If you read my blog regularly, you will know I have a penchant for eyeshadow palettes. I have enough eyeshadows to cover my entire body and some and certainly don't need anymore. But I am a sucker for a good palette and one brand that does it so well is Too Faced. I LOVE their Sweet Peach Palette (here) and the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette (here), so it was a give in that I would also fall in love with the new palette to the range, the Chocolate Gold Metallic/Matte Eyeshadow Palette.

I was doing well making my way through the many Colourpop Palettes I had to share with you all, but I've fallen by the wayside over the past month or so, but I'm back with a review of the stunning Kathleen Lights Dream St Palette from Colourpop which might be one of my favourites.

Today I am coming at you with another eyeshadow palette review - I know that lately my blog has been saturated in palettes but they are definitely one of my favourite makeup product and I have a lot of thoughts on them! This one is from TheBalm and is the Meet Matt(e) Trimony Matte Eyeshadow Palette* (as always, they deliver with the punny names of their products!).

It doesn't take much for me to pine over a makeup palette, and as soon as I saw the first images of the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette, I knew it was one I had to get my hands on! I know the UD eyeshadow formula is going to be amazing, and these shades are irresistible!

RIMMEL LONDON | New Magnif'eyes Eye Contouring Palettes, Wonder Wing Eyeliner + Wonder-Fully Real Mascara - CassandraMyee

If you are a long time reader you will know my slight obsession with eyeshadow palettes. I literally can't resist them and I love trying out new ones that come out. Rimmel London who has been launching new products left right and centre (most of them are awesome!), has bought out larger palette in their Magnif'eyes Eye Contouring Palette range, as well as a new eyeliner and mascara. Let me tell you, these palettes are pretty damn impressive...

L'OREAL PARIS | New Infallible Eye Paints - Review + Swatches

L'OREAL PARIS | New Eye Paints - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

I love it when my favourite affordable brands come out with new products, and recently L'Oreal have added a few new things to their lineup. The new Eye Paints* are a different product for L'Oreal that promises bold colour and the ability to blend them seamlessly, but have they lived up to this?

BRONX COLORS | Burlesque + Angel Dust Eyeshadow Palettes - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyeea

If you are a blogger, I am sure you are well aware of posts getting lost in your drafts. Well, that is exactly what happened with this one! I had the photos already for YONKS now but just haven't gotten around to putting words to screen about these two affordable palettes from Bronx Colors. Never heard of Bronx Colors before? Let this post be your introduction but in brief, the products are made in Europe, Germany to be exact, with head offices in Switzerland but they draw their inspiration from New York City.
