When it comes to lip balms, one brand always comes to my mind - Burt's Bees. It's such a cult brand that has been around ever since I can remember and they definitely know what they are doing when it comes to lip balms, and now even expanding into skincare and makeup. They have recently launched the Tinted Lip Balm* line with six shades designed to hydrate your pout and add a tint of colour.
Day to day my lip product choices vary, one day I will be wearing a super intense matte liquid lip, and then the next I might opt for a lip balm or more of a sheer lipstick. While I do love liquid lipsticks they can be a bit of a pain to maintain, so on lazy days I opt for one of these Tinted Lip Balms*. I was lucky enough to be sent the six shades, but obviously one does not need every single shade as some of them are quite similar on the lips. The balms are packed with shea butter and botanical waxes so they offer a lot of moisture and feel so light on the lips. The shade range is very natural and would suit many people; my pick and the one I wear the most is Red Dahlia, which is a similar shade to my own lips (although a touch darker). I always have one of these floating around in my handbag for when I need it. If you aren't into wearing a lot of makeup, a tinted balm like this is a good option and so easy to apply and maintain throughout the day.
