What a nice surprise it was to have this amazing Best Beauty Box Ever turn up on my doorstep a couple weeks ago! You might have seen this on my blog last month, where I unboxed the Incredible Eyes Box, and absolutely loved what was inside, well this one I think might have trumped it! June saw the release of the Great Ball Season Box, just in time for school balls and formals, with loads of products inside to help you look your best on the night. Now, I am a few years out of school (nearly 10 actually!) so my formal going days are over, but even just as a beauty lover this box has some incredible products in it - some that aren't even on the NZ market yet!
Best Beauty Box Ever was started by the ladies behind Beauty Review, with a focus on boxes that have full sized products included and are easily purchasable in New Zealand. The Great Ball Season* box includes 11 full sized products that has a value of over $192.00! Unlike other subscription services, you don't have to sign up for a month by month subscription, instead, you are welcomed to buy whatever box you like, whenever you like!
Goodness Products Every Day Cream Cleanser | RRP $19.99
A cleanser is always an essential to keep the skin clean and looking it's best. Goodness is a NZ brand, that recently launched over a year ago with all natural skincare product containing the nourishing chia seed oil. I have used a sample size of this and actually have a full size already, but it's a gentle cleanser, perfect for all skin types and for daily use. Plus this 150ml tube will last you a good while!
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs in Light | RRP $8.99
This is a smaller tube than the full sized bottles, but is still a generous 22ml. This is basically makeup for your legs and has pretty amazing coverage. It's also water resistant so there no chance of it washing away while you're out!
Rimmel London Rita Ora Nail Polish in 270 Sweet Retreat | RRP $6.99
I have a few of these Rimmel polishes and enjoy using them. They have a super wide brush that nearly coats the entire nail in one stroke. There was a possibility of receiving a number of different shades, but I'm really happy with this candy pastel pink shade I got.
Scholl Party Feet Ultra Slim Invisible Gel Cushions | RRP $16.99
These are a total ball essential and it was such a good call including these in the box! These ones are newer and improved, especially for heels, and having these in your shoes will hopefully keep the pain away from the balls of the feet while you dance the night away.
L'Oreal Paris False Lash Butterfly Wings Mascara in Black | RRP $25.99
A mascara is a must have - I think a little mascara goes a long way in making the eyes look wider and more awake. There were two options you could have received, this mascara or the L'Oreal Manga Eyes Mascara - which I really enjoy using. I haven't used this exact one before but have tried the Intenza version and loved the effect it had on my lashes.
Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent | RRP $14.50
I was beyond excited to see they included my holy grail setting powder in the box. I've used this stuff for years and years and continuously buy a new one when I run out. It's an affordable, but amazing powder that keeps your makeup in place for longer and is also good for touch ups to get read of any oil on the skin.

Za Cheeks Groovy Blush in 01 Glowing Pink | RRP $20.00
Za is a brand I think is thoroughly underrated as they have some great products in their range. I received the shade Glowing Pink in my box which is a soft coral pink, with a natural shimmer through it. There is a possibility of receiving two other shades; Pink Petal and Apricot Pink. The powders don't seem chalky at all, with a good colour pay off.
Australis Eye Liner Pencil in Blackest Black | RRP $12.00
You can't go wrong with a black eyeliner! Australis products are amazing for the price, and this eyeliner pencil has that dense black finish you want from an eyeliner, plus it seems to glide on easily.
Covergirl Colorlicious Lipstick Nudes in 240 Caramel Kiss | RRP $16.99
Everyone loves a good nude lipstick and if you are going quite heavy on the eyes, finishing the look with a nude lipstick will tie it all together. Caramel Kiss is a soft peachy nude. There was a possibility of a number of different shades you could have received in this line.

Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette | RRP $29.99
When I saw the sneak peek for this box and saw this palette was going to be in it, I was surprised, but in a great way! This has been out in the US for ages now and I was wondering when we would be getting it in NZ. It is launching next month, but if you want to get your hands on it before it's even launched you might want to buy this box! Unlike the original The Nudes Palette (my review and swatches here), this is a lot softer with pinks and grey tones. I will have a separate post up soon with swatches of each shade.
Maybelline Master Fix by Face Studio Wear Boosting Setting Spray | RRP $19.99
The final product is also one that is not out in NZ yet but is on its way. This one I am beyond excited about - finally the drugstore brands are bringing out setting sprays - hallelujah! I'm yet to spritz this, but from the description on the front, I think we are going to get along very well.
The total value of this box is nearly $200, and you can get this finely curated selection of products for only $72.95. The selection of products are spot on and I know I will use every single one of them, plus the brand-new-not-released in NZ Maybelline products are a good draw card!
