I have a mighty large nail polish collection, honestly, it is a little ridiculous and would rival any salon, but one brand I didn't have any nail polishes from until now is L'Oreal. They just went under my radar and I never really thought of them as being a go-to when it comes to nail colours. I was sent a shade to try from their Colour Riche Le Vernis line, so I've included it in a good ol' classic Nail Of The Day.
I have the shade 870 Fourreau Inferno* a darker berry pink. It was a breeze to apply, with a wide brush that dispersed the colour on the nail with ease and I only needed one coat (although I do wish I had done two, for good measure). Because I can't just have a single colour on my nails I opted for a glitter accent and used a Revlon Nail Lacquer in Sequins, that is packed with gold hexagonal and smaller round glitter pieces. Unfortunately, the L'Oreal lacquer didn't quite live up to my expectations and it started to chip basically the next day, but it could be because I only did one coat, and didn't use a top coat. I'm not going to give up on it though because I really do love the shade and the colour saturation in one coat was spot on!
