In yesterdays post I talked all about two other ZA Cosmetics eyeshadows palettes in the Gradation style here. Today I have another two that are part of the Impact-Full Eyes Groovy* range of palettes.
Exactly like the Gradation palettes, these come housed in the same standard plastic packaging, in a small and compact size. The layout of the shadows is a bit different and definitely a bit 'groovier' than the Gradation layout. The idea with these palettes is you can use just one shade, or mix and match to create different looks.
The eyeshadows in these quads have a range of finishes, the circular ones are more chunky and glittery, others more frosty and then a couple have the same satin-like finish similar to the shadows in the Gradation palettes. I personally prefer the Gradation palettes over these ones, but if you like a bit of glitter and frost finishes than these might be just for you.
SHELL NECKLACE
This one has the most safe, more neutral tones of colours going on. I love the two shades on the left side of the palette, the darker brown has a gorgeous golden glitter running through it and is the most pigmented. The golden glitter let me down a bit and it doesn't show up as gold as I would prefer, instead it leaves bits of glitter across the lid and not a lot else - it is one for layering with other shadows.
FAVORITE DRESS
I find the colour combinations in this quad to be a bit all over the show and it reminds of Neapolitan ice-cream!. I think the dark brown is amazing, the pink shadow does have good pigmentation but it is one I wouldn't reach for often. I'm sure that some people will like this combination, but it just isn't for me.
ZA is available at Farmers and other pharmacies across NZ and for worldwide stockists, check their website here. These palettes retail for NZD $20 each, and there are two more shades available in this Groovy range, see them here.
Do you own any makeup from ZA Cosmetics? What do you think about these palettes?
