A big old bronzer is a must in anyone's makeup stash. There is something very satisfying about swirling your brush in a large pan of bronzing goodness that can then easily be swept onto the face to give you that natural looking tan, like you've been sunning yourself on the beach (when in reality it's winter and you have been sitting on your laptop all day!) This Big Bold Bronzing Powder from NYC gets the faux-tan thing going on and it won't break the bank!
I was beyond stoked when I scored this at a closing down sale of a Postie store in Auckland for only $3, as I absolutely love the Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny from NYC. In the pan there looks to be a bit of golden shimmer through it, but barely any of this transfers onto the skin and it has a relatively matte finish. I wouldn't go in and contour with this shade, but what I do is just swirl the brush around and dust it onto the face focusing on the hair line, forehead/temple and lightly around the jawline. The colour is quite deep but I find it works amazing on my light skin tone and looks natural whilst still giving off that faux-tan glow.
You might want to check your local Postie in NZ to see if they have this in stock, other wise you can get it from Amazon and internationally.
