NARS | Narsissist Cheek Studio Palette - Review + Swatches

NARS | Narissist Cheek Palette - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

I don't own a whole lot of NARS Cosmetics products, but the majority of what I do have comes in the form of these Cheek Palettes that they bring out quite regularly. Instead of forking out for an individual blush/bronzer/highlighter, I like spending that little bit extra and getting one of these palettes as they often have some of the classic cult shades, as well as a few new ones. One of the most recent is this NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette* which is such a beauty and holds an impressive amount of different powders inside.

M.A.C. | Haul - Vibe Tribe, Ellie Goulding + Chris Chang Collection - Swatches

M.A.C. | Haul - Vibe Tribe, Ellie Goulding + Chris Chang Collection - Swatches - CassandraMyee

A couple of months ago I had a real 'feeling spendy' moment, not helped by the fact that I received an email from M.A.C in the US saying they were having 15% off everything on the site. Well you know I had to get amongst that! I've ordered a fair amount from M.A.C., because let's be real here, the prices are SO much better than buying in NZ. I use YouShop to get it to me and have had no issues with it whatsoever. The shipping was NZD $22 for all the items, which I think is pretty good considering! Now let's get into all the makeup bits as I got quite a bit...

COLLECTION | Contour Kit Highlight + Sculpt Palette - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

Just about every brand now are bringing out some sort of contouring and highlighting kit. It seems us beauty lovers can't get enough of them, I know I am a big fan of them and have been loving trying out the different offerings. UK based brand Collection have brought out their version* to the market, at a great price of NZD $21.99. But what's the quality like...?

COSME-DE.COM | Haul + Review - Guerlain + Benefit

COSME-DE.COM | Haul - Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder in 02 + Benefit Coralista Blush - CassandraMyee

I was recently contact by online beauty retailer COSME-DE.com to see if I wanted to try out their site and pick a few products to try out; naturally I said yes, because I love online shopping and I love makeup. They have so many brands on there (over 500!) and they stock men's and women's products from skincare, to hair, to beauty and fragrances too, plus they offer free shipping worldwide (a major tick in my books!)

THE BODY SHOP | New Honey Bronze Tinted Leg Mist + Highlighting Domes Review

THE BODY SHOP | New Honey Bronze Tinted Leg Mist + Highlighting Domes - CassandraMyee

You're probably all aware by now that I am a big lover of The Body Shop; you can pretty much guarantee everyday I use something from their range, whether it's their skincare, or makeup. One of my favourite makeup products from them is the Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder (pictured to the right), so I was so excited to see that they have extended the Honey Bronze range with some more great products.

MOST LOVED | July '15

MOST LOVED | July '15 - Maybelline, TheBalm, Australis + Zoeva - CassandraMyee
I realise that it is well into August but if you read this post you'll realise I've been a bit preoccupied and blogging has taken a back seat (certainly not by choice!) I can't break tradition however, so here are my Most Loved products from July.

MAYBELLINE | Master Hi-Light Highlighting Bronzer + Master Glaze Blush Stick - Review + Swatches

MAYBELLINE | Master Hi-Light Highlighting Bronzer + Master Glaze Blush Stick - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

Unfortunately living in NZ means that a lot of the time we get beauty releases months and months after their initial release in the US or the UK. Because I am an avid blog reader, YouTube watcher and beauty addict, I see a lot of these products via. the US and UK gals, and wait patiently for their NZ release (or do a bit of sneaky online shopping). Thankfully, Maybelline have had an influx of new product releases, and I was recently sent a couple of the new products that are out in NZ now to try out; the Master Glaze Blush Stick* and the Master Hi-Light Highlighting Bronzer*.

TOP FIVE | Bronzers - One For Every Budget

TOP FIVE | Bronzers - One For Every Budget - CassandraMyee

Bronzers for me are makeup staples, not a day goes by when I don't dust a bit of bronzey goodness onto my face and bring a bit of colour back to my skin after foundation. I think there are some brilliant ones out there on the market, so here are my top five picks, and hopefully one that will suit everyone's budget.

NYC | Big Bold Bronzing Powder in 602 MetropoliTan

NYC // Big Bold Bronzing Powder in 602 MetropoliTan - CassandraMyee

A big old bronzer is a must in anyone's makeup stash. There is something very satisfying about swirling your brush in a large pan of bronzing goodness that can then easily be swept onto the face to give you that natural looking tan, like you've been sunning yourself on the beach (when in reality it's winter and you have been sitting on your laptop all day!) This Big Bold Bronzing Powder from NYC gets the faux-tan thing going on and it won't break the bank!

ART DECO | Bronzing Glow Blusher "Queen Of The Jungle" - Review + Swatches

Art Deco is a fairly new brand to me. Last month I blogged about their eyeshadows and (pretty amazing) magnetic beauty boxes and since then I have been browsing the Art Deco stand every time I am in Farmers. One particular thing that really caught my eye was this gorgeous Bronzing Glow Blusher and I won't lie, the packaging had me sold!

SNATCH-A-DEAL | Makeup Bargains [Feat. L'Oreal, Maybelline + Covergirl]

SNATCH-A-DEAL // Makeup Bargains [Feat. L'Oreal, Maybelline + Covergirl] - cassandramyee
Snatch-A-Deal is a sale website here in NZ, and the other day someone on the Makeup Obsessives FB page posted some of the amazing bargains they scored off the site. Naturally I can't resist a bargain, and they had a whole bunch of makeup items starting from $1, with the most expensive things being only $6!

AUSTRALIS | Haul From NZ Sale, First Impressions + Swatches

Way back in mid-Feb NZ Sale had a super cheap sale on a whole bunch of Australis Cosmetics, everything bar the mousse foundation (which was $8) was only $2 each, so naturally, I could not resist grabbing a few items! I think Australis do some great products, but also some duds (like any brand) but for such cheap prices, I grabbed some things I have been wanting to try out for a while.
