TOP FIVE | Bronzers - One For Every Budget

TOP FIVE | Bronzers - One For Every Budget - CassandraMyee

Bronzers for me are makeup staples, not a day goes by when I don't dust a bit of bronzey goodness onto my face and bring a bit of colour back to my skin after foundation. I think there are some brilliant ones out there on the market, so here are my top five picks, and hopefully one that will suit everyone's budget.

MOST LOVED | MARCH '15

MOST LOVED | MARCH '15 - CassandraMyee

March, oh March, how quick a month you have been! I feel like a lot happened, but then a lot didn't, it was a weird one. But it was a great month for makeup discoveries, so here are a few of my top Most Loved for March.

BEAUTY JOINT | Haul #006 + First Impressions [Feat. Wet N Wild, e.l.f., NYC + Jordana]

BEAUTY JOINT // Haul #006 - Wet N Wild, e.l.f., NYC + Jordana - CassandraMyee

The only way to do Boxing Day sales is online in my opinion. So while perusing my favourite online shopping sites, I landed on one of my faves for makeup, Beauty Joint and they had 20% off everything! I already had a few things I wanted to get, but also ordered a few extra goodies as well, because when on Beauty Joint I can't really control myself!

NYC | Big Bold Bronzing Powder in 602 MetropoliTan

NYC // Big Bold Bronzing Powder in 602 MetropoliTan - CassandraMyee

A big old bronzer is a must in anyone's makeup stash. There is something very satisfying about swirling your brush in a large pan of bronzing goodness that can then easily be swept onto the face to give you that natural looking tan, like you've been sunning yourself on the beach (when in reality it's winter and you have been sitting on your laptop all day!) This Big Bold Bronzing Powder from NYC gets the faux-tan thing going on and it won't break the bank!

BEAUTY JOINT | My Sister's Haul [Feat. NYC, NYX, e.l.f. + Rimmel]

BEAUTY JOINT // My Sister's Haul [Feat. NYC, NYX, e.l.f. + Rimmel] - cassandramyee

As promised yesterday, here is my sister's part of the big joint Beauty Joint order we placed. I thought it might be nice to share with you the items she has been wanting to get for a while and include some swatches of the products as well. Emily is no stranger to my blog and a month or so ago I shared a peek inside her travel makeup bag and like me, we both share a big love for makeup!

MOST LOVED | June '14

MOST LOVED // June '14 - cassandramyee
I have just gotta say it, June flew by! The months just seem to be going quicker and quicker, and I am now only a few months off from finishing my second degree at uni! June's Most Loved is a mix of some new products I've been loving and some old favourites that have been getting a bit more love lately. Along with the beauty, a few albums have been at the top of my most played on iTunes, including Sam Smith, Karmin and Ed Sheeran [more on that at the end of the post].

BEAUTY JOINT | Haul #002 [Feat. Jordana, E.L.F. + NYC]

I had ran out of a couple of my staple E.L.F. products so hoped onto Beauty Joint and naturally couldn't resist adding a couple extras to my cart. It was all justified - have to make the most out of the shipping cost!

MYSTERY MAKEUP BAG | 10 Products for $20

Last week Grabone (a deal website here in NZ) had this deal - a mystery bag of 10 makeup products for $20. Working out at $2 an item, this was too good to pass up, plus I loved the idea of just getting a whole bunch of items. They all came from the online site Snatch-a-Deal, which has heaps of discounted product especially makeup. Obviously not everyone's cup of tea to not be able to pick colours or the items, but there were a variety of brands like Rimmel, Covergirl, L'Oreal, Sally Hansen among many others and the items ranged from eyeshadows, mascaras to lip liners and nail polish. It really was a mixed bag of everything!

It was pretty exciting when it arrived and sussing out what I had actually received. Some of the items aren't really for me - not colours I would go for - but a few of the products look really nice. For $20 it was good for a bit of fun and if the deal came up again I would definitely grab it!

I have swatched everything I received and also tired to find their prices on the website to see how much I saved.
