May's bellabox* has arrived and inside it is packed with a great mix of skincare and makeup with the theme 'Blissful Beauty'. I am a little late to the party posting this but I thought I would still like to share as it is again another outstanding box filled with goodies!
Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D | NZD $54 (8ml)
I am pretty picky when it comes to mascaras, as soon as I find one that works for me I will use it until something better comes along. When I first opened this up to look at the bristles, I thought this was going to be a good mascara, and wow did it blow me away! It does everything it promises; adds volume, curve, length and high definition. I am not always sold on mascaras on first use, but this one ticked all the right boxes.
Stylondon Hydrating Mousse Matte Lipstick in Rose Wood | AUD $15 (3.8g)
It's always a nice surprise to see a lipstick included in these boxes. I am definitely a big fan of the packaging - the marble moulded plastic case is very on trend! I received the shade Rose Wood out of the four options available and this one is certainly right up my alley. You can see a swatch below, but this shade is a gorgeous natural pink nude. The formula feels great and the pigmentation is impressive.
Natural Instinct Dark Circle and Wrinkle Correction Eye Cream | NZD $22.99 (25ml)
It was like bellabox knew that I was out of eye cream and needed something new to try out! I was surprised that this was an eye cream just based on the size alone - this is a 25ml tube when generally an eye cream may only be 10-15ml. This promises to be a 'wake-me-up for sleepy eyes' with a blend of aloe vera and coffee seed oil to reduce puffiness and aid in hydration. I look forward to using this!
Swisspers Earth-Kind Paper Stem Cotton Tips | NZD $4.99 (pack of 120 tips)
I go through cotton buds like crazy so it is nice to see Swisspers making an effort to be more sustainable with these paper stems as opposed to plastic. I am sure they will work exactly like the others, so I am on board with helping the environment a little bit at a time. It is a little counterproductive having them in this plastic bag though...
Palmers Coconut Oil Anti-Oxidant Firming Lotion | NZD $11.99 (250ml)
Palmers do some great products that are cult favourites of many. This product is designed to help firm the skin and tighten it. I am always dubious if these sorts of creams actually work but I am willing to give it a try.
