I think I have done pretty well resisting the endless stream of beautiful new product releases and deals from Colourpop of late. But one thing that is always going to get me is the free international shipping offer with no minimum spend, it's safe to say I took advantage of that. I've teamed up with some of my favourite beauty blogging pals, who are just as Colourpop obsessed as me (perhaps even more... Lani, here's looking at you) to share our recent purchases with swatches and some thoughts on the products. Check out Christel over at Makeupper and Lani over at Lani Loves to see what they have been buying recently.
When I made my order they also had an offer of a free mini Ultra Satin Lip if you spent a certain amount so it was definitely the perfect time to order. I really wanted to try some of the new Ultra Blotted Lips and get my hands on the gorgeous Sonya Esman collection.
Brow Pencil in Bangin' Brunette [x2] | USD $5.00 each
I really love their brow pencils and whenever I do an order I make sure to add at least one to my cart so I've always got a backup on hand! These have quite a soft formula but once you get used to using them you can really create a good structured and full brow. The nib is super fine and the spoolie is great for blending the product through the brows.
Ultra Blotted Lip in Slide | USD $6.00
After launching the Blotted Lips for the Alexis Ren collection (see it in another haul post here), they have now made them a permanent finish and also extended them into the Ultra Blotted Lip range as a liquid lipstick. These are a really interesting new product as they dry down totally matte like the Ultra Matte Lips, but have a medium coverage, so not fully opaque on the lips. I find this matte formula is a lot more comfortable on the lips and these feel very light on but you still get that long wear from them. I am definitely keen to get some more shades in this formula.
Shake, Rattle + Roll Lip Trio | USD $11.20 [down from $14]
As I am a lover of their lip products I definitely couldn't resist this deal, you basically get one of them for free! I went for this set of dusty rose shades as I love wearing these sorts of shades. Included in the set is the Ultra Matte Lip in Viper, Lippie Stix in Sauce (Matte X - one of my favourite formulas as it lasts for ages!), and the Lippie Pencil in Viper. Each of these can be purchased individually, but get your hands on this kit as it's so affordable but won't be around for much longer.
Sonya Esman x Colourpop Pressed Eyeshadow Quad in Gemini By Night | USD $18.00
As soon as I saw the shades that were going to be included in this collab I knew I would love it and I wasn't wrong. This quad has four perfect, gorgeous, neutral shades that I am sure so many of you will love. The Pressed Powder Shadows from CP are some of the best I have used, they are incredibly pigmented and so soft and blend like a dream. This quad contains four limited edition shades; Golden Gate Bridge (Matte, warm nude), The Hidden Hills (Satin, warm taupe), Manhattan Coffee Run (Matte, mid-tone brown), and Moscow Sunrise (Metallic, rosy copper) - it's worth getting this palette for that shade alone.
Make sure you check out Lani and Christel's haul posts for even more Colourpop goodness and to see what they bought during the free shipping promotion. Colourpop still have free international with orders over USD $50 (which isn't hard to get up to!) And if you are yet to try CP, I would 100% recommend it, the price, the quality, the brand ethos - it's all so good!
