ANTIPODES | New Moisture Boost Natural Lipsticks - CassandraMyee

With a push these days towards a natural way of life, Antipodes lead the way in crafting beautiful natural skincare and makeup products that are cruelty-free and kind to the earth. I have used a few of their skincare items and they are all absolutely beautiful and so nice to use. They have just launched a brand new line of lipsticks - the Moisture Boost Natural Lipsticks*.

There are 12 shades in the range at the moment and I have 6 of them here to share, each shade is named after somewhere in New Zealand or the Pacific, so I feel especially connected to them and love how well Antipodes are doing globally. These lipsticks are certified vegetarian by the UK Vegetarian Society, and all the ingredients used are totally safe to consume and are good for the body (you just think how much lipstick we must actually eat!)

The ingredient list is super impressive, with such things like avocado oil (helps to increase collagen production), calendula oil (anti-inflammatory properties), evening primrose oil, argan oil (for moisture and hydration), as well as beeswax, shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin E to really nourish the lips. The boxes these lipsticks come in are also beautifully designed, with each colour matching the shade inside.

These lipsticks are so lovely to use and as promised are very comfortable and provide a hit of moisture that you don't generally get from other lipsticks. Despite the moisture factor they provide, these lipsticks don't skimp out on pigmentation and they really pack a punch. The three shades above are Oriental Bay Plum* (berry plum, a close dupe for MAC's Rebel), Forest Berry Red* (vibrant pinky red), and South Pacific Coral* (soft pastel coral). My pick from this lot is definitely Oriental Bay Plum, which is ideal for autumn!

Originally this post was only going to be featuring the first three shades, but I was surprised by another parcel a week or so ago with three more shades from the collection included so I had to tack them on to the end of this post.

These shade are; Queenstown Hot Chocolate* (darker natural nude), Remarkably Red* (mauve pink), and Piha Beach Tangerine* (vibrant coral orange). Remarkably Red is such a pretty shade, which is one I gravitate toward from the bunch.

The other six shades are; Golden Bay Nectar, Boom Rock Bronze, West Coast Sunset, Dusky Sound Pink, Dragon Fruit Pink, and Ruby Bay Rouge. I mean, how good are the names, and if you are from NZ, they are so recognisable!

These lipsticks are NZD $34.00 each and available now.

What shade would you pick?
