The latest Lust Have It Women's Beauty Box* is here with the theme of Winter Skincare - inside are some products to keep the skin hydrated in this chilly weather. If you missed it, you can see what was inside the May box here, and if you are new to these parts, Lust Have It is an Australian and New Zealand monthly subscription service where you are sent at least 5 products that range from full size to sample sizes from a variety of brands. It's a fun way to be introduced to new products and try things you may have otherwise not.
This month came with five items, one full sized product and four deluxe sample products.
Edgy Tempting Cosmetics (etc) Eye Liner Pencil in 05 Grey Blue | RRP $15.00
The packaging of this eyeliner was nothing special and I wasn't sure as to how good the quality of it would be. I have swatches it and I was left surprised that it didn't feel dry or drag the skin; you get dense colour in a couple of strokes. It smudges out nicely too and sets down, but not completely. The colour is interesting too, something unsual to try compared a black or brown and I can imagine this would look nice against blue eyes.
Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub | Full Size RRP $12.99 (125ml)
This is a little 15ml sample tube of one of their cult products in my opinion and one that has been around for ages. I have used this product before but a couple of years ago now, from what I remember it was a good scrub and left the skin feeling polished. This tube size is also great for travelling with.
Neutrogena Make-Up Removing Cleansing Wipes | Full size RRP $12.99 (25 wipes)
I'm sure over the years I have used these wipes, so it's nice to have the chance to use them again. This is a sample pack of 7 wipes, which claim that they will remove all makeup even stubborn waterproof mascara. It's always good to have some wipes on hand, especially good for taking on a plane/travelling.
Sasy N Savy Peppermint N Rosemary Revive Bath N Shower Gel | Full size RRP $35.00 (250ml)
Sasy N Savy has been included in previous Lust Have It's and I'm a bit on the fence about their products. Nothing really stands out to me about the brand, so maybe this shower gel will change it. It smells very strong of peppermint and you can also get the rosemary scent there too, I imagine it will be really invigorating to use in the shower. Another very handy tube for travelling with as it's 30ml... they should have just called this the travel-friendly skincare box or something!
Paula's Choice Resist Intense Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum | Full size RRP $56.00 (30ml)
The 5th product is a random winter skincare item picked by the LHI team and I am really pleased with the product I got! Paula's Choice is a brand that gets great reviews; I've used a sample of one of her products and was impressed. This is a supercharged anti-aging treatment which contains retinol, antioxidants and ingredients to make the skin look and act younger, according to the back of the packaging - it all sounds good to me. The sample is 7ml, which will hopefully give a fair idea of how the product would work on my skin.
To be honest, this box wasn't really as exciting as others, I think purely for the lack of makeup products. For skincare lovers, this will be a popular one! The overall price of the items received is AUD $37.30 which is significantly lower than the majority of the other Women's Beauty Boxes I've had in the past.
