L'Oreal Paris are starting the year off with a huge bang with a hoard of new releases. I know I won't be the only one excited to see a few of these products finally hitting NZ and Aussie shores this Februay - there's gorgeous palettes, eye products, and some very intriguing matte lip products. I will, of course, be doing more in depth reviews with swatches of the products over the coming month, but for now I wanna give you all an overview of what is coming out and what you can expect from them.
MATTE FX BY INFALLIBLE* | RRP $23.99 each
We all know that matte lips are having a major moment right now, but most come in the form of a traditional lipstick, or the favoured liquid lipstick form. The Matte FX are matte lip colours like you've never seen them before. If you're familiar with the Smokissime from L'Oreal (released in October/November last year - see them here), you'll notice that they have the same unqiue sponge applicator tip, designed so you can give the lips full saturated colour, or go for an ombre effect. The formula is a powder, that promises 10 hours of wear - I'll be reporting back on this in my review! There's six shades available ranging from soft nudes, to a bright red, and even a purple.
FALSE LASH SUPERSTAR MASCARA* | RRP $29.99
A new mascara that promises to take 'lashes to new heights' with a two step process. One end has a white primer that will thicken and coat each lash and the other end has the dense black mascara to put over top, aiming to give you extreme, dramatic and volumised lashes. I'm looking forward to using this - L'Oreal are always pretty great when it comes to mascaras.
SUPERSTAR BY SUPERLINER* | RRP $28.99
To compliment the False Lash Superstar Mascara is this new liquid liner. It apparently has a super flexible tip, that will release the ink gradually for an even line and better control. I swatched this on my hand and the formula is totally opaque black with just a light swipe. I think this is going to be a fast favourite.
LA PALETTE NUDE BY COLOUR RICHE IN 01 ROSE + 02 BEIGE* | RRP $35.99 each
Finally, L'Oreal are releasing these two gorgeous eye shadow palettes here. I've seen UK bloggers go on about these for well over a year now, and I'm so excited we get the opportunity to try them. There are two options; Rose has more softer pinks and nude blush tones, and Beige is for all those neutral brown lovers out there. There are 10 shades in each palette, and they are a great compact size for travelling. Of course, swatches will be on their way in a post dedicated to these two palettes.
All of these releases are available from February onwards at Farmers, certain pharmacies and department stores.
