ULTA3 | Nail Polishes for Spring/Summer - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

Spring and Summer are always the best months to pull out the bright and pastel nail polishes you had tucked away over Winter. The very affordable brand, ulta3 have recently bought out a whole swag of new shades, in candy pastels and brights perfect for the warmer months.

You might have seen me talk about ulta3 a couple of times before - I've reviewed four other shades they do here, as well as reviewing and swatching some of their lipsticks only a couple of weeks ago (here). For the price these nail polishes are great quality and the colour selection is pretty amazing too. The brush on these is nothing special - just your bog standard brush. I find the formula really easy to work with, the lighter shades are a little streaky on first application, but another coat combats this, but the darker shades are great and only require two thin coats for full opaque colour. The wear time isn't amazing, although with a good base and top coat I can get at least 3-4 without too much chipping happening.

The four shades I was given to try are: Corsian Rose* (a very white based, milky mint), Party Shoes* (vibrant Barbie pink), Bo Peep* (bright raspberry), and Violet Rumble* (mauvy vibrant purple). As you can see any of these shades would look great on the nails and are ideal for the summer months. You can find ulta3 at Postie here in NZ, and the nail polishes retail for only $4 each!

What shade from the four above catches your eye? Have you used many ulta3 polishes?
