New Christmas collections are coming out thick and fast now, and The Body Shop is dropping their usual deliciously scented lot of body treats. They're bringing back favourite scents from previous years - Glazed Apple and Frosted Cranberry, and have added a new one to the bunch, the gorgeous Frosted Plum range*.
The Frosted Plum collection has a total of ten products, as well as some gift sets that will be great presents for any beauty lover. The scent is absolutely amazing, it smells fresh and light but also very festive appropriate with notes of ripe plum, magnolia and peony.
Frosted Plum Shimmer Mist* | RRP $44.95
Housed in a glass babble like bottle, this body mist looks absolutely gorgeous with a light purple colour with swirls of silver shimmer through it. It works like a light fragrance, that leaves a shimmer on the skin. Make sure to shake this before using it as the shimmer settles at the bottom.
Frosted Plum Sugar Scrub* | RRP $44.95
I'm all for sugar scrubs and love this one! It has a jelly-like texture to it, with small scrubbing particles that aren't too harsh on the skin. This might be my favourite thing from the whole collection.
Frosted Plum Body Butter* | RRP $36.95
I've got mixed feelings on the Body Butters, although I find the scents are amazing, and they are very moisturising, they tend to leave a bit of residue on the skin and it never really sinks in completely. I think that might just be my issues with them because I know plenty of people love this cult product. The scent is awesome though and if you like a good rich moisturiser than it's well worth checking out.
Frosted Plum Lip Balm* | RRP $19.95
Lip balms are always handy things to have around and this one is nourishing on the lips, non-sticky and has that same amazing scent. It gives a little hint of colour to the lips (and I mean a very small amount) and leaves them feeling hydrated for ages.
Frosted Plum Shimmer Lotion* | RRP $29.75
I've never really used a Shimmer Lotion before, but I can see this one becoming a staple during the Summer months. It is a lot lighter than the Body Butter which I prefer and sinks into the skin almost instantly. It has quite a bit of shimmer to it, which looks so nice during the evening and if you have a good tan this looks great to amp up the glow.
