A little bit of eyeliner (or a lot, depends on the occasion!) can really enhance an eye look. I have quite a few favourites and lately I've been loving using eyeliner on an everyday basis. Here are a few of my current favourites, with a mix of liquid and more traditional pencil liners.
ZA Liquid Eyeliner in Real Black* | NZD $20.00
If you are on the hunt for an affordable and amazing liquid liner, look no further than ZA! This one is absolutely amazing for getting a sharp, and crisp liquid liner look, the colour pigmentation is really black and once set down it's not going anywhere.
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner in Black | NZD $32.00
When I'm not reaching for the ZA one, this is what I'll go for as I can rely on it to really not budge at all, and if I'm going to be wearing liner for over 12 hours, this is the one for the job. The nib on this is stiff enough to get a precise application but it still has a bit of movement so you get close to the lash line. I'm not good at cat flicks (my eye shape just doesn't let it happen), but with this I can get a very small one. I'd say that the ZA Liquid Eyeliner is a very close dupe, if you don't want to fork out the extra cash.
Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Perfect Black | USD $18.00
I am a huge lover of Too Faced products; everything I have used is amazing, and they make one of my all time favourite mascaras, Better Than Sex. Sadly it isn't easily available in NZ, but you can buy it off Beauty Bay and they ship worldwide. This pencil is very creamy, and ideal for a real smokey look. It works well in the tightline and waterline because of the waterproof formula. It does take a bit for it to set down, so be aware of a bit of transfer if you go to heavy handed.
Benefit BadGal Waterproof Eye Pencil | NZD $38.00
I've had this little mini sized BadGal Liner for ages now and it is still going strong! I use this most of the time in the tightline, as I find it's not as creamy as the Too Faced one, but still has a dense black colour pay off. As for wear time, it will last all day without fading.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Bronze + Nude | NZD $13.50
I've lumped these two together, because obviously they have the same formula but are different shades. The Bronze shade I have only recently got into this year, and I absolutely love it for something a bit softer than black. It has an amazing metallic sheen to it and works particularly well smudged along the waterline, paired with a bronze eyeshadow. I've been using the shade Nude for years now; it works amazing in the waterline to brighten and is a lot more natural than using a stark white shade. I think it should be a staple in anyone's makeup collection as they're really creamy, but also long lasting.
