STILA | The Natural Collectible Palette - Review + Swatches

STILA | The Natural Collectible Palette - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

This beautiful palette from Stila is a fairly new addition to my makeup collection and I instantly feel in love with it the moment I used it. I included it in my Most Loved May, but now I'm going more in-depth to share why I love it so much.

The Natural Palette might look a bit risque from the the cover, but inside it is a lot more innocent and angelic. It includes six eyeshadows, a highlighter and a bronzer, making it a great travel companion (plus the size and sleekness is perfect for a travel makeup bag).

EYESHADOWS
Stila produce beautiful eyeshadows, i.e. the In The Light and In The Moment palettes, so this one is no exception. The three matte shades (Pure, Linen and Innocent) have a beautiful texture, with great pigmentation and blendability. They make great base shadows, and Innocent works so well through the crease. The three shimmers (Element, Demure and Silk) also bring it with pigmentation and the soft pinky/bronzed hues are lovely on an everyday basis. Wear wise on the lids, they stick it out all day, and perform even better with an eye primer.

FACE
I love when palettes include a couple of good face powders in the mix too. The highlighter (Organza) works great as an inner corner highlight and also amazing on the cheekbones. It reminds me a lot of TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer, but a more pinky toned one, as it has the buttery texture to it that blends out like a cream. The bronzer (Soft Clay) is quite a light bronzer for me, and a tad orangey. It does have a beautiful soft gold micro shimmer through it. Not one for contouring but a quick dust on the cheeks helps to brighten the complexion.

The winners for me are the eyeshadows and are definitely what make this palette stand out. The collection of shades are beautiful and unique, and you can't beat the quality. I bought this from Urban Outfitters for USD $16.00 (on sale from $20.00) which is a total bargain for the palette, sadly though it seems to be sold out *sad face emoji*. If you do see it for sale, nab it. You won't regret it!

Have you used Stila eyeshadows before? What shade are you drawn to the most from this palette?
