Bright green nails aren't something I would usually go for, but I recently got this Essie shade, with the brilliant name Shake Your $$ Maker, so I had to try it out. Sadly it didn't really impress...
In the bottle this colour looks pretty awesome and I had high hopes that it would be opaque on the nails. Unfortunately this had a very odd formula (very rare for Essie polishes) and you can tell that on the nails. I did about 4 coats to try and make the colour opaque but it refused, instead you can see the nail through the colour. It has an almost jelly sort of look, with a matte finish that dried super fast (which was great considering how many coats I was doing!) It would probably work a lot better with a white nail polish underneath, and that would eliminate the transparency. The colour could be so awesome, I just wish the formula was better!
