Yes, I did buy the complete shade range of the Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipsticks from Beauty Joint. Am I slightly obsessed? Yes. Do I regret it? Heck no. Should you also buy some (or maybe all) of the shades too? Heck yes (well it's up to you, but let me sway you with this post).
Let's back track a bit here, I didn't buy the entire range all at once, it has been building over the past six months or so, ever since I bought a couple earlier last year. Because they are so cheap (USD $2.75, NZD $3.70), I honestly couldn't help it, these lipsticks seriously rock. It was a bit of love at first swipe (I think I've used that phrase before...), these have pigmentation for days. Seriously, one swipe with full on pigmentation, no patchiness or anything. The best part is that they are really long lasting on the lips and I can pretty much get a full day of wear out these, pair them with a lip liner and it's even better. Lots of these shades are hailed as a dupes for many MAC lipsticks (just do a Google and they will pop up, i.e. Sugar Plum Fairy for Rebel, Cherry Bomb for Sin, Spotlight Red for Ruby Woo and the list goes on) Buying these ones are a great way to try out a variety of shades, and if they don't suit you, then it wasn't a huge loss to your bank balance!
Warning: it is very photo heavy from now on with lots of swatches...
I hope the swatches kind of did the talking (rather writing) for me here, amazing colour range, amazing pigmentation and amazing price; what more could you want?! If I had to pick some favourites, or some shades to start off with I would say - Bare It All, Rose Bud, Mauve Out Of Here, Sugar Plum Fairy, Ravin' Raisin, Cherry Bomb and Pinkerbell. As I said earlier, they are USD $2.75 each from Beauty Joint with shipping worldwide.
Do you have any of these lipsticks? What shades stand out to you?
