I adore my custom MAC 15 Pan Eye Shadow Palette (full details here and here), and it could possibly be one of my most prized makeup possessions. I got it for my birthday last year and carefully chose each shade after lusting over them for a year before hand and doing a lot of research. Overall I really am happy with the shades I got, but there is of course more shade I want to add to my collection! Although I love this palette, it's not very travel friendly so I recently got a smaller empty quad to fill it with my current favourites or shades I want to travel with. It means I can dip in and out of my 15 Pan, and curate my own different quad each time.
Currently these are the four shades I have decided to fill the quad with and I've been reaching for them a lot now they are in this smaller format. For highlighting the inner corner and brow bone I have Shroom (satin), for getting into the crease and just being a general matte brown staple I have Espresso (matte), for easy one swipe and you're done colour All That Glitters (veluxe pearl) totally wins for that, and finally another one that is a good 'one swipe and go' shadow is Satin Taupe (frost).
I think these four shades are perfect companions to one another and are definitely some of my favourites from my bigger palette. But I will be changing them up every couple of weeks so I can get the most out of my other shadows and experiment a bit more rather than always going for the same shades all the time!
