Last year's Lust Have It posts definitely got a little out of sync, with the late delivery of the boxes, to my late receiving of them and my late posting; everything just got a little messed up. But now that it's the New Year things will be resuming as per normal, so here is my end of month review for the November '14 Women's Beauty Box* (full unboxing and initial thoughts post here) and tomorrow I'll be talking the December box.
Essenzza Fuss Free Natural Japanese Facial Treatment Mask // [RRP $4.95 for two]
Sheet masks and I really don't get along and to be honest I kind of hate the things. I will admit that this one was slightly better than other ones I tried, at least it sort of fit my face! It had a messy three layers to the mask though, a white layer you peeled off, which was the side you applied to the face, and then you had to peel off a blue layer once applied to reveal the silk mask under it. It was pretty messy and a bit fussy to use, and not really as 'fuss-free' as they claim. After using it, you just peel off the mask, but the thing I didn't like is the residue it left on the skin, so I had to wipe most of it off before I could go in with my toner, moisturiser etc. I don't think these are worth buying, and I think I'll stick to clay masks instead.
Natralus Paw Paw Pure Gel // [RRP $6.15 (30g)]
This couldn't have come at a more perfect time! I was a little naughty for a couple of days and got caught in the sun (well some weird patches on my legs got really sunburnt but then other parts didn't...) but this was perfect for using to sooth the burn and helping it to heal up with no peeling involved. It had a quite runny, gel consistency which spread easily and sunk into the skin quickly and it was non-greasy or sticky. This is a great one to have in the bathroom cupboard!
Aveda Color Conserve Daily Color Protect // [RRP $49.95 (100g)]
This is a leave-in treatment that you apply when your hair is still damp and it works to help preserve colour and also treat and repair the hair. You only need a small amount and I focus it on the ends as that is where my hair really needs it. I think it is nice in the hair and doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling, but I've used similar products that I much prefer over this.
The Cosmetic Kitchen Pressed Mineral Blush in Sherbert // [RRP $34.95 (8g)]
Over the course of December, I found I was trying out a lot of different blushes (because I went a little blush shopping crazy), but I was trying to use this as much as possible and I've gotta say I really like it! The colour is right up my alley and is a lovely light peach shade with a hint of shimmer that barely transfers onto the skin. It gives colour to the cheeks that looks very natural and I find it lasts well also. Definitely one of my favourite products from this bag!
So Susan Water Based Pure Luminizer // [RRP $35.00 (15g)]
When I first tried this to swatch it (see swatches of everything here), I wasn't sure how I would get along with it, but I've come to really like it. The consistency is very runny and as it says in the name, is water based. I just squirt a small amount onto the back of my hand and then dab it up the cheekbones and either blend with my fingers or use the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to blend it out further. It is quite similar to Benefit High Beam, but it more of an icy silver/pink finish. I don't think it's worth the $35 price tag, but I do really enjoy using it.
Overall I think it was a pretty good bag, bar the sheet masks, I did really enjoy the other products. If you are keen to have one of these turn up on your doorstep each month, they are only AUD $19.95 a month, and you can use the code CASSMYEE for $5 off your very first box.

Have you used any of these products? Are you a sheet mask hater like me?
