TOP 10 | Winter Nail Polish Picks

TOP 10 // Winter Nail Polish Picks - cassandramyee
The other week I realised that time had flown by so quickly I didn't get around to doing my Top 10 Picks for Autumn, but quite a few of these colours would be perfect for Autumn even though I have dubbed this as Winter. Dark nails + colder weather is just a winning combo, although there is the odd time when I just need something bright on my nails, but most of the time the darker the better! I have rummaged in my nail polish stash and pulled out my Top 10 Picks for Winter. If you want to catch up on previous seasons, you can find Summer here and Spring here.

GLITTERS + SHIMMERS [all showing 2 coats]

001. OPI The Living Daylights - From the 007 James Bond collection, this is a great chunky glitter polish with bronze, gold and dark teal green glitter pieces.

002. OPI Vesper Liquid Sand - Textured polishes are a great way to update your manicure; these OPI liquid sand ones are great. This shade is a deep, dark purple with matte black glitter pieces.

003. Revlon Top Speed Spice It Up 552 - This is a deep, wine colour packed with micro shimmers in golds and bronzes.

004. OPI Meet Me on the Star Ferry - This is a lighter, more pinky version of the Revlon polish above.

005. Maybelline Color Show Twilight Rays 240 - I absolutely love this shade; it has a black base with golden shimmer all through it.

OPAQUE/CREAMS [all showing 2 coats]

006. Revlon Parfumerie Bordeaux - I have blogged about this shade here and it is just a true classic red, plus it smells like red wine.

007. Revlon Plum Night 799 - As the name describes, it is a deep plum shade.

008. Essie After School Boy Blazer - One of my favs of all time is this shade; a deep dark blue that is almost black in some lights. I've raved and blogged about it here and here.

009. Capsul Safari - This brand is not easily accessible to everyone but I love the shade and think a deep khaki green is very on trend for the winter.

010. Revlon Top Speed Stormy 820 - A unique spin on grey or brown, this shade sits right in between.

There are so many other amazing shades that I could have included, but these are just a handful of ones that I think are perfect for winter. Now to just choose which one to put on next...

What are your go-to shades for Winter?
