MOST LOVED | November + December '17 - CassandraMyee

So I've not been the best blogger and this post is extremely overdue (I am well aware we are nearly at the end of January now), but better late than never. Over November and December, these were some of the stand-out products covering all of your beauty sections. All of these are products I can't get enough of, so find out why below.

Goodness Products Break Up Make-Up Balm*
I am all about cleansing balms and oils as I find they are the easiest way to break down your makeup and give your skin a really good clean. I started using this one over the Christmas break and it really impressed me. It felt great on the skin, smelt good, and only a little bit helped to just melt away makeup with ease. Some hot water on a flannel later and I was makeup free! It's such a good product and a bit cheaper than others on the market but still made with amazing ingredients (Trilogy is their big sister brand!)

Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Eau de Parfum*

I could have just put this in my Most Loved for the bottle alone - isn't it a work of art? It's absolutely beautiful, plus the scent is divine with notes of gardenia, blood orange, honey and patchouli.
I have been using this so much for the past couple of months and is my first foray into JPG fragrances.

Bump eRaiser No More Ingrown Spray
This one is not so glamorous but it has really helped me these past months. I get really bad ingrown hairs on my legs; I don't know what it is but I try and exfoliate often and am careful when I shave but nothing seemed to really help. I've got some gnarly scars from them which I am a bit self-conscious about, so off to the chemist I went to try and find some sort of solution or cream that would help. I found this and so far it has helped to prevent any ingrown hairs from popping up! I use this most days in the morning (especially after I've shaved) and you just spray it on, rub it in and you're done. It also helps with the smaller bumps and irritations you can get from shaving, so I would really recommend.

Soap & Glory The Rushower Scent-sational Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoos are a total staple for me, and I thought I would try out this one from Soap & Glory which I got at Mecca Maxima. I tried out the smaller travel sized can (NZD $4 for 50ml) to start with and it worked so well, I had to get the big can (which I am also now run out of!) The 200ml can is only NZD $7.00 which is cheaper than Batiste and others available and it works as well, if not better. My new staple!

Colourpop Cosmetics Double Entendre Pressed Shadow Palette
Yet another Colourpop palette has made its way into the hall of fame. You'll be seeing a lot more of these as I get through my review and swatches of each one. The Double Entendre Palette is a newer release and the shades inside are neutral perfection. Everything about these is high quality with amazing pigmentation and wear time. The one thing I wish they had of done is put it in different packaging like all the other palettes as this one is the exact same as the I Think I Love You Palette (see it here).

Mecca Cosmetica Enlightened Lit From Within Powder

The lovely Fiona from Fiona Clare Beauty raves about this highlighter from Mecca Cosmetica (their own brand of higher-end products), and for the longest time, it was out of stock. They recently bought it back for the MECCA 20th birthday celebrations and that's when I bit the bullet and finally nabbed this. It truly is a gorgeous highlighter; with a champagne/rose gold tint to it that has no shimmer or glitter, instead, it just makes you glow. I don't know how it does it but it is as amazing as Fiona made it out to be. This is now back permanently so go get your hands on it, oh, and the rose gold mirrored packaging is luxe as hell.

Ciate Liquid Velvet Matte Lipsticks

I recently got these in a duo pack that Ciate released in their Christmas gifting range and I have used both shades (Fling and Pin Up, swatches in this post here) SO much, they had to be included here. The colours are great and are shades I wear all the time that I know are flattering on me, and for the price (NZD $23 for both minis), these are some of the best liquid lipstick formulas I have used. They last all day and they don't dry your lips out much at all.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Pump
My final Most Loved from the past two months has been the foundation pump I finally bought for my EL Double Wear bottle. I've spent way too long pouring it out and wasting so much product! The pump is not only more hygienic, it controls the amount I use and stops the colour from oxidising from the constant opening and closing and exposure to air. The pump is around $15 which seems ridiculous but if it saves me $15 in foundation then I am happy!

And that is my final Most Loved for 2017 - now onto 2018, and my January Most Loved will be up in only a couple of weeks time!
