Carrying on from what has been an extended gift guide of sorts on my blog this past couple of weeks, it was about time I shared this set from Nude By Nature - the Summer Luxe 10 Piece Brush Set*. You can't go wrong with gifting a gorgeous set of brushes to any beauty lover, and you can never have enough!
Nude By Nature was first started in Australia in 2008 and has been available in New Zealand for a number of years too. All of their products are naturally derived, cruelty-free with a focus on mineral makeup. I have tried a few makeup products from them in the past, and have liked them but I feel like this year, in particular, they really stepped their brand up a notch and launched more products and had a redesign of their packaging (which looks really luxurious).
This Christmas they have a load of different value sets and gift ideas at a range of prices, starting at around NZD $29.95 (see them here). I was so pleased when I was sent the brush set to try because I always love trying out new makeup brushes and I find these sets are a great way to do so.
The Summer Luxe Set comes with 10 brushes that will basically do the whole face. From left to right there is the: Angled Blush Brush, Powder Brush, Liquid Foundation Brush, Buffing Brush, Concealer Brush, Lip Brush, Smudge Brush, Crease Brush, Tapered Blending Brush, and the Lash & Brow Spoolie Brush.
The quality of the brushes are really high and the bristles feel very soft and dense. One of my favourites has been the Buffing Brush which is much smaller than other buffing brushes I own and it makes it so easy to blend out foundation and concealer around the eye area, nose and for spot concealing too. I've managed to make use of every single one of these brushes and am very impressed. They also wash up good as new as well with a bit of warm water and some baby shampoo.
At NZD $50.00, I think this is an affordable option for some high-quality brushes, in a very handy travel case! Nude By Nature is available online and in stores at Farmers.
