Unicorn and rainbow lovers unite because wet n wild has just dropped their brand new Unicorn Glow Collection* and you don't wanna miss it. This limited edition collection won't be in stores for long and if you want to look like a sparkling, glittery unicorn over summer, check out some of these products.
The main stars of the show are the ColorIcon Rainbow Highlighters* (NZD $13.99 each) available in three shades, Unicorn Glow, Everlasting Glow and Bronze Over The Rainbow. You can't think of unicorns without thinking about rainbows, so naturally, they had to bring out a rainbow, iridescent highlighter. If you use this with a fan brush and sweep it across each colour you can pick up each individual rainbow colour, but if they're mixed together, it gives this bluey/green sort of tone. You can concentrate the brush to a certain area though to get different tones.
The other two are more traditional with Everlasting Glow making a gorgeous pink toned highlighter and Bronze Over The Rainbow giving a bronzed glow. The powders are nice to use, but a little chunky if you don't blend them well.
Next up is the MegaLast Iridescent Lip Colours* (NZD $8.99 each) in two shades Immortal Tears and Unicorn Soul. Now, these look super scary in the tube but once you use them they transform on the lips. Immortal Tears is a pearly white and something I would use as a lip topper over other shades. It has a blue/pink sort of duochrome finish and something a little different. Unicorn Soul is a very scary looking pale blue in the tube but on the lips, it comes off as this iridescent pink with a blue flip. This actually leaves quite a stain on the lips once it comes off, and is certainly a bit more wearable than Immortal Tears. It reminds me a lot of the Too Faced Lipstick in the shade Unicorn Tears which has a very similar effect.
Wouldn't be a unicorn themed collection without a unicorn horn inspired brush! The Unicorn Glow Highlighting Brush* (NZD $12.99) is a soft, slightly domed shape brushed perfect to use with the Rainbow Highlighters. Its got synthetic fibres so it works well with creams and powders, and is cruelty-free and vegan like the rest of their brushes. Not only does this work well, it looks so pretty!
Lastly from this limited edition range is the ColorIcon Loose Pigments* (NZD $6.99 each) and they come in four limited shades (of which I have three). For only $7 these are such a steal because you get heaps in the little pottles and a little bit is all you need to get a really good colour payoff. The packaging on these is so much better than many other pigments (i.e. M.A.C ones), because not only do you have a lid, they then have a smaller lid which lifts to reveal the sifter. It makes them SO much easier to use and means a lot less mess! As you can see the shades are very on theme and very pretty.
So if you like the look of any of these new products you better get in quick because these limited edition collections don't stick around for long and fly off the shelves. I can tell this one will be popular! wet n wild is now available at Farmers around NZ and also can be shopped online.
