I think NZ might finally be coming out of Winter and into a bit of warmer weather, so to celebrate that let me introduce you to the Elizabeth Arden Tropical Escape Collection. It's sure to get you in the summer mood, and perfect if you are going on a little trip to escape the cold soon!
The collection consists of these three products above. The Sheer Kiss Lip Oil* comes in 6 shades and the FourEver Bronze Bronzing Powder* comes in two, Medium and Deep. Despite the small range of products, I feel like they've got it just right with the products that you are most likely to use on a holiday or a 'tropical escape'.
There is one limited edition product in the range, which comes in the form of the Dare To Bronze Body Bronzing Oil* which is everything you could want and more! It comes housed in a glass bottle with the shimmering golden goodness inside. This is the holiday product must have as it is going to enhance a tan and give the skin that instant sun-kissed glow. It's light on the skin, and also extremely moisturising with oils such as sunflower Seed, jojoba, macadamia, meadowfoam seed, pomegranate seed and is packed with Vitamin E - it's all the essentials to treat your skin. It also smells like the tropics with a vanilla and coconut scent.
I think my favourite product from the collection is the FourEver Bronze Bronzing Powder* (NZD $73) in the shade Medium. I am a sucker for a good bronzer, and this one ticks all the right boxes. The packaging is this amazing matte metallic bronze and inside you get a pan that includes four different powders in one; a highlighting, shimmering powder, blush, and two bronzing shades. The bronzing powders are matte, but not a flat matte and they look great on the skin. The blush is a soft, lightly shimmery pink, and the highlighter is a beautiful champagne gold.
The summer sun and seawater can definitely dry out the skin, and I find my lips always tend to get quite dry. The Sheer Kiss Lip Oil* (NZD $52) is such a nice product that not only hydrates and keeps the lips looking plump but it also adds some colour. There are six shades, with a red, pink, nude and even a purple. The packaging is super unique with a round clear shell with the lip oil held within a squeezy section in the middle. It applies really nice and feels smooth and non-sticky. The shade I have, Rejuvenate Red had a lot more pigment to it than I was expecting and comes off as more of a pinky/raspberry tone. The Lip Oils contain coconut oil. avocado oil, Tsubaki oil, and meadowfoam oil.
This range can be found at Elizabeth Arden stores and counters globally.
