MOST LOVED | December '16 - CassandraMyee

I know we are 6 days into January (and 2017 for that matter), but I still haven't shared my Most Loved for December, so here they are! I would have liked to of had this up in December along with my Empties, but I took a wee break over the Christmas period and only getting back into my normal schedule now (definitely not an easy one!)

MOST LOVED | December '16 - CassandraMyee

When it came down to choosing what products to include I found that there were quite a number of things from my beauty stash I have been really loving. There were a bunch of others I wanted to include but didn't want this post to go on and on so I've narrowed it down to this lot of 8 products.

Zoella Beauty Hungry Hands Hand Cream | £5.50 / NZD $9.70
I bought this in a recent Feelunique haul I placed before Christmas and thought it was only appropriate to start using it over the festive period. It was part of the limited edition Christmas range with the scent inspired by gingerbread and vanilla. It smells so delicious and I find the actual formula of the hand cream to be exactly what I like - super nourishing, light, non-greasy and it sinks into the hands quickly. I will definitely be getting this in the other scents that are on offer.

Coola Daydream Mineral Primer SPF 30* | NZD $65.00
I have been familiar with Coola before but had not had the chance to try their products, but was recently sent a couple of their suncare range to try. Coola is a San Diego based that produce natural and eco-friendly sun and skincare products, but they are available in NZ also. This Primer has been a summer essential for me with SPF30 to give you some extra sun protection. The bottle is glass with a pump so it feels and looks worth the money, the actual primer comes out like a sunscreen almost but once applied to the skin it almost melts in and leaves a very soft film to the skin. Makeup applies really well over top, so even without the added benefits of it being SPF30, as a stand-alone primer, I really like it.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray | NZD $25.00 (30ml)
Another summer essential has been the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and it has lived up to its hype. I have oily/combination skin and find some makeup just dissolves on my skin, using this definitely keeps everything in place for a lot longer, plus it helps to settle everything down and mattify with a super fine spray. I have the smaller version which was great for travelling with over the Christmas break but I will likely buy the full size once this has finished.

Michael Kors Wonderlust Eau de Parfum* | NZD $138.00 (50ml)
My scent for Summer '16/'17 is definitely this perfume, I was so surprised when I opened a PR parcel to find this inside plus a Michael Kors black leather pouch included too. I absolutely adore this perfume, the bottle looks like an island sunset and the scent is beautiful. It is described as being addictive (can vouch for that), captivating and bold, with notes of Almond Milk, Dianthus, Benzoin Siam, and Sandalwood from Sri Lanka.

Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipstick in 02 Perfect Match* | NZD $5.20
Essence has got to be one of the most affordable brands out there, but they also nail is with the quality. This is one of their new lipstick ranges in a matte formula and I just love them. The shade, in particular, is right up my alley, the typical natural nude pink, but the formula is smooth and pigmented, whilst being matte and long lasting without the drying.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia* | NZD $18.00
I am a big fan of the original Burt's Bees lip balms, and the new Tinted Balms are just as good! Red Dahlia has been my pick of the six shades available (I was lucky enough to be sent all of them to try), and I love the tint of colour is gives with the bonus of being moisturising to the lips. It was a beach/boat essential for me!

Lancome Juicy Shaker in 313 Boom-Meringue | NZD $39.00
I have been wanting to try the Juicy Shaker's for the longest time since their launch and got this shade in the super cheap Sephora Favourites Give Me Some Lip Set. This is basically just a lightly tinted lip oil, that you shake up like a cocktail shaker to mix the oil and the pigment. The sponge applicator is really weird but feels nice to apply, and it makes your lips look healthy, moisturised and super juicy.

Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Palette in 01 Cappucino Nudes* | NZD $31.99
You may have seen my review on the Golden Nudes Palette here, which I also love, but in December the Cappucino Nudes stole the show. It's a lot pinkier in tones but still has amazing pigmentation and payoff. There is still the fallout issue, but the shades are so lovely I don't mind that at all. I will have a more in-depth post with swatches of this one coming soon.
