EMPTIES | July '16 - CassandraMyee

I know we are a week into August, but to give July its last send-off, of course I have to share my empty products that I have finished up. The majority of these I have been using solidly over the past few months, and most are ones I would happily repurchase (or I've already bought them, because they are just that good!) So here is some of my rubbish... I mean empty products.

Lipidol Cleansing Facial Oil*
This was one of those products that had been sitting in my cupboard waiting to be used and I am so glad I decided to try it out as it became a fast favourite. I am a devotee to The Body Shop Silky Chamomile Cleansing Oil, but this pretty much does the same job as that one and is much cheaper at only $10. You apply this oil onto dry made up skin, rub it around a bit and then add oil so it turns into a milky cleanser. Wash off with a cloth and it removes the majority of my makeup and works well on the eyes too. I haven't repurchased this yet as I had an extra stash of The Body Shop one, but I would buy it again.

Maybelline Makeup Remover Eye + Lip
It's not an Empties without this! As you should all know by now, I LOVE this stuff and go through it in bucket loads. It is gentle on the eyes, doesn't sting and removes makeup really well.

Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream*
I had been wanting to try the Antipodes Eye Creams for ages now; I was luckily sent one months back and I started using it straight away. This pottle lasted me a good 3-4 months with ease and it was beautiful to use morning and night. The formula is rich but sinks in quickly and it moisturises the eye area so well. I would 100% repurchase this again; plus it's all natural and a beautiful NZ brand.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer in Brightener
This is one of my holy grails products that I will never get sick of using because it works so well - I just wish they would bring it to NZ! I use this every day as my under eye concealer as it's light, but good coverage, hides dark circles and the pink tones of the Brightener shade counteract and treat dark circles. The formula blends easily and doesn't crease. It ticks all of the right boxes for me and I am well into my next tube.

Hask Essentials Express Blow Dry Spray*
I was only introduced to Hask earlier in the year and I am kicking myself for not trying their products sooner - they are amazing! This is the second bottle of the Express Blow Dry Spray I have been through as I use it daily on my hair. I love that it helps to dry your hair a lot quicker than normal, so it saves time using the blow drier or waiting for my long hair to dry! It also treats and nourishes the hair too. I was already bought another bottle and I will continue to use it for the foreseeable future, for sure!

Hask Essentials Repair That Hair Leave-In Spray*
Although I didn't get through this Leave-In Spray as quick as I got through the Blow Dry Spray, I still really loved using this. It helped to keep the frizz at bay, whilst also detangling, nourishing and smoothing. It's a wonder product and it's also a heat protectant too!

The Body Shop Early Harvest Raspberry Shower Gel*
If you didn't get a chance to smell this, then you definitely missed out! I am so gutted I have finished this as it was limited edition for Autumn, but I hope they bring it back next year. It smelt amazing and was so nice to use in the shower! I have another shower gel from TBS to use now and I would totally recommend them as a pampering product.

Tangle Teezer Elite Brush (Limited Edition)*
I was lucky enough to be sent a brand new Tangle Teezer in their Lemon Sherbet colour, so I thought I should retire my other one which I have been using for well over a year and a half. I absolutely love the Tangle Teezer brushes, they just brush through the hair so easily and don't drag, pull or damage. They have a brush for all hair types, which you can find on Beauty Bliss online.
