The first Lust Have It Women's Beauty Box* for 2016 has arrived! To be honest, this actually arrived last week, but I've only just gotten around to posting about it now. The January bag was literally jam packed with five products inside, including three skincare items (one full size, and two deluxe sample sizes) and two makeup items (both full size). Let's delve into the contents...
Unani Il-Luminate Micellar Water | RRP $22.50 (200ml)
I am really excited to see this full size Micellar Water in the bag, as I am a big fan of them. I use the Garnier one religiously and have been through multiple bottles. It easily removes makeup without irritating the skin or drying it out. This one promises the same thing, saying that it will remove impurities, and leave the skin soft and hydrated. I've never heard of Unani before, but with some Googling, I discovered that it is a Spanish brand with all products being natural, biodegradable and aren't tested on animals.
SkinYoga Sandalwood Safron Face Mask | Full Size RRP $24.00 (50g)
I was most intrigued by these two products especially from the really unique packaging they came in! The laser cut boxes are almost too nice to throw away! Inside the box is a small jar with a cork top filled with the product, which contains 5.67g. This is designed as a face mask and they say to take a spoonful, activate the ingredients with water, apply to face and leave for 3-5 minutes. The Sandalwood Saffron mask is designed for dry skin and only contains three ingredients; walnut meal, sandalwood powder and saffron.
SkinYoga Almond Orange Face Scrub | Full Size RRP $24.00 (50g)
The second little bottle contains a face scrub with almond meal, chickpea flour, orange peel powder and organic turmeric (which gives it the vibrant yellow colour). All of these ingredients together help to gently exfoliate the skin, cleanse and repair, and continued use will lighten scars over time. This one is used similarly to the Sandalwood Saffron Mask, instead, you scrub your face with it in circular motions for 2-3 minutes. You can also leave it on as a mask for up to 5 minutes. Hikari Blush in Bikini | RRP $21.00
Hikari products have made an appearance in a lot of LHI Beauty Boxes the past few months, but before this, I'd never heard of them before. I am a bit of a blush addict so more than happy to try new formulas and products. On swatching, this seems to be a good formula, good pigment and very smooth without any chalkiness. I received the shade Bikini, a pinky peach with a light golden shimmer through it. The other option was Sunkissed, a warm peach with a shimmer.
Hikari Lip Crayon in Macchiato | RRP $18.00
The last makeup item is another product from Hikari in the form of a lip crayon. This has really good pigmentation on one swipe and the shade is a nude brown, with a bit of orange undertone to it. The packaging is nothing flash, but the actual product seems good.
