Despite Burt's Bees being such an iconic brand, I have to admit I've never used any of their products - thankfully that has changed now as I was sent a little bag of goodies to try out from them. I feel a bit out of the loop when it comes to Burt's Bees - all I thought was that they did some lip balms and a bit of skincare, but they have a huge extensive range of products now from lipsticks and glosses to skincare, and even baby care products too,
Matte Lip Crayon in Niagara Overlook* | RRP $18.00
You might know by now if you've been a long time reader that I really love lip crayons. This one from Burt's Bees is really lovely, nothing out of this world, but still a great lip product. They promise to be lightweight and comfortable, which I can really agree with. The formula has a good amount of pigment to it, it glides on easily, although I'd have to disagree with it being a matte finish; it's more of a satin. The lip crayons come in six different shades and are infused with shea butter, kendi oil and jojoba oil, making them very nourishing for the lips.
Lip Gloss in Ruby Moon* | RRP $20.00
I have one simple rule when it come to lip gloss - they must not be sticky. Thankfully this one isn't at all, instead it feels really light and moisturising on the lips. There's 12 shades available and I have the shade Ruby Moon, a raspberry red with golden shimmer throughout. The glosses are formulated with apricot wax and natural oils so that aids in leaving the lips shiny as well as moisturised.
Lip Balm in Mango* | RRP $8.95
I have absolute loved using this lip balm, so much so I featured it in my Most Loved for December (read it here). I find it really moisturising and long lasting, the flavour is nice and not too strong either. There are a total of 6 flavours, so something to hopefully please everyone. Apparently these lip balms are their top selling product - 20 people worldwide buy one of these every minute!
Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream* | RRP $18.00
For someone who paints their nails a lot, a good moisturiser and cuticle cream or oil are essential, as nail polish remover can be very drying. This one does a great job at softening the cuticles with Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Seed Butter, Vitamin E and Sunflower Oil to nourish the nails. It comes as a solid cream, which melts with the heat of your fingers and I find this is a good one to slather on before you go to bed as it takes a little bit to really sink in. It's no surprise why this is one of their most awarded products from the range!
