It's time for another Lust Have It Women's Beauty Box* unboxing for October! This one arrived last week, and it's nice that they are finally back on track with the shipping. October's bag comes with seven items in it, including four full sized products and three sample sizes and there's an interesting mix of makeup, skincare, hair and even a nail polish!
Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment | RRP $19.95 (90ml)
I've never used a hair mask, and these sorts of things seem to be all the rage at the moment! This one is formulated with coconut oil, sweet almond oil, macadamia oil, and jojoba oil - all of which are very nourishing and supposed to be great for your hair (and skin too!) I'm excited to use this, especially with summer rolling around when my hair tends to be a bit drier than usual.
Bioderma Sensibio Light Soothing Cream for Sensitive Intolerant Skin | Full Size RRP $32.99 (40ml)
I've only tried a few products from Bioderma but have really enjoyed all of them, and I bet this will be the same. This is a 'soothing cream' which I gather just makes it a moisturiser, aimed to reduce skin sensitivity over time with continued use and immediately soothe the skin. This is a good 15ml sized sample tube, so I'll be able to get a few uses from it.
Atkins Endulge Chocolate Candies | Full Size RRP $9.00 (5 pack)
This is a bonus 'product', not technically a beauty item, but one that I'm not complaining about. I've tried Atkins bars before and they were quite yum, these chocolate candies were really good though, I would definitely buy a box to have. They only have 1 gram of sugar in them per bag, so that's better than downing a whole bag of M&Ms right?!
Your Tea Skin Magic Tea | RRP USD $35.00 (per box of 60)
In last month's box I received one of these samples too, and the card for this month said if you didn't receive all 6 samples then here are the rest of them - but I only got one again? Very confusing! Anyway, I haven't used the other tea bag yet as I'm not a huge tea drinker, but I should give them a go and see if they make me feel any different or improve my skin at all (not that I expect two tea bags to do that).
Flormar Pretty Compact Quartet Eye Shadow in P041 | RRP $30.00 - $50.00
Flormar is a brand I've never heard of, but apparently it is an Italian brand that is extremely popular in Turkey. There were a range of products you could have received in this month's bag including eyeliners, lipsticks and powders. The packaging on this is quite bulky and a bit plasticy, but the actual eyeshadow formula really surprised me. They've got a rich pigmentation to them, even the pale yellow really shows up, and they feel soft and are easy to blend. I'm not sold on the neon orange shade yet, but it might be a fun one to play around with.
Flormar Nail Enamel | RRP $12.00
There were a mix of colours that you could receive as well as some nail care products too. I got the shade 389 and it's a shimmery metallic burgundy shade. The brush is a standard thin brush, but one coat gave even and opaque coverage when I swatched it on my nail wheel.
Lust Have It! Natural Highlighter in Sunset Strobe | RRP $29.95
So it looks like LHI are branching out into their own range of cosmetics, available from their website. Surprisingly this seems to be a really nice highlighter, it's all natural, vegan friendly and cruelty free. The shade is a perfect pearlescent champagne and it seems to blend well into the skin, giving a sheen rather than a highlighter that is packed with glitter. I think I'm really going to like this one!
The overall value of the October bag is around $116.00, which is pretty amazing value for the AUD $19.95 (plus shipping) you pay for it each month. If you would like $5 off your first box you can use the code CASSMYEE1 and try out a LHI subscription for yourself.
Have you used any of these products before? What do you think of the contents of the October Women's Beauty Box?
