The Lust Have It Women's Beauty Box* for August has arrived, and it's even better than usual because it's their birthday box! This months box includes five products, some skincare and the rest makeup, all of which are full sized. If you're unfamiliar with Lust Have It, basically they are a monthly subscription service where you get sent at least 5 products, ranging from full sized to sample sizes to try out for AUD $19.95 a month. They ship to NZ and Australia and they are a service I've been getting for over a year now.
Red Carpet Kolour Body Glow in Medium | RRP $49.95 (150ml)
With Summer on its way, this product from RCK is going to come in very handy! I'm so happy it's a full sized, and it comes in three different shades, Light, Medium and Tan. This is a body lotion that gives you an instant tan that won't transfer, and it promises to cover veins, wrinkles, pigmentation and age spots on the skin, giving it a radiant glow. It sounds a lot like the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs, but with a more shimmery, glowing finish to it.
Reed Orange and Poppy Seed Scrub | RRP $6.50 (150g)
I absolutely love body scrubs, and this one from Reed sounds beautiful. It's all handmade, and using 100% natural ingredients, with this scrub only having five ingredients in it; sucrose (sugar), polenta, vitis vinifera (grape vine), blue poppy seeds, and sweet orange essential oil. The smell of this is AMAZING and I know what I'll be using in the shower tomorrow!
Mellow Cosmetics Baked Eyeshdow in Olive | RRP $9.50
I've never heard of Mellow before, but after using this eyeshadow over the weekend, I am so keen to try out more from the brand, even better because they are actually a NZ based brand! There were four shades that you could receive in this month's bag including, Olive, Plum, Peach and Opium. I received Olive and it is absolutely gorgeous - the pigmentation is on point, and I found that you could really build up the colour on the lid, and it gave a gorgeous metallic sheen. It lasted throughout the day without fading and creasing and I know I'll get a lot of use from this shade.
Mellow Cosmetics Mineral Auto Twist Eyeliner in Navy | RRP $8.00
So exciting to see another Mellow product to try, this one is an eyeliner available in either Navy or Black. I'm actually glad to have received the shade Navy, as it's always fun to experiment with a bit more colour, rather than the usual neutrals I go for. The pencil has great colour pay off, although it does feel a bit stiff and not as creamy as I would have thought.
ulta3 Volume + Length Mascara in Black | RRP $6.95
The last product is another makeup item from ulta3, an Australian brand that originally started out with nail polish and lipsticks, but have now moved into a bit more makeup. It's available at Postie here in NZ, and is super affordable and pretty reasonable quality. This looks like an interesting wand, as it is slightly curved near the end, which I imagine will fit along the lash line well.
