Limited edition MAC collections are always a complete success, to the beautiful packaging and the special shades they release, no wonder they sell out! The latest collection from MAC is in collaboration with Isabel and Ruben Toledo, who are fashion designers and illustrators, and it pulls fashion, makeup and art into one amazing collection.
As you can see the packaging is one of a kind with beautiful illustrations across all of the range. It's a big collection with Eyeshadow Palettes in three colour ways (NZD $105), Blush Ombres (NZD $64.00), Eyeliners (NZD $40.00) and more. I was sent three items from the Toledo Collection and they are total stunners.
LIPGLASS IN OXBLOOD* [NZD $42.00] | This lip glass has my name written all over it and it's the kind of shade I reach for all of the time. I've never tried the MAC lipglass's before, but was really impressed with the colour pay-off that you get. It is a little tacky and sticky, but I have to get over that because I adore this light peachy nude shade way too much. There's a lipglass to match all six of the matte lipsticks from this range as well.
LIPSTICK IN SIN* [NZD $44.00] | Described as a deep blood red, this matte lipstick is a stunning colour. I can't wait for it to get a bit colder because I know I'll be wearing this one a heck of a lot! Plus the matte formula means they are really long lasting on the lips and with such a bold colour, the matte finish means there is no worries that it's smeared everywhere or all over your teeth.
LIPSTICK IN TENOR VOICE* [NZD $44.00] | This one is a classic, true matte red shade, and like I said with Sin, matte lips are the way to go, especially if they are this beautiful shade of red!
The Toledo Collection is in selected NZ stores now, so I suggest you go and hunt this one down! Prices start at $28.00 for a nail lacquer and go up to $105 for the six pan eyeshadow palettes. The packaging alone is a winner for me, but the shades are all gorgeous also!
