NEUTROGENA | Foot Cream, Hand Cream + Body Oil - Review

NEUTROGENA // Foot Cream, Hand Cream + Body Oil | Review - CassandraMyee

I find Summer is the time when my skin gets extra dry, whether it's from swimming in the sea, boating activities, or simply being in the sun a little too long; all these factors contribute to some pretty dry skin. I was recently sent these three body care products from Neutrogena to try out and they make for some lovely pamper treats to combat that dry skin.

Norwegian Formula Foot Cream* // RRP NZD $8.99
For me, a good foot cream is essential, it might seem a bit gross, but during the summer I get extremely dry and flaky feet (sorry for the TMI). I use this cream at night before bed to really let it soak into the skin. The formula is quite thick and you do only need a small pea sized amount to slather on to both feet. It takes a while to sink in, hence why using it at night is the best time to do so, but in the morning there is a noticeable difference in my normally dry feet.

Norwegian Formula Hand Cream* // RRP NZD $8.99
This hand cream is nothing new to me at all because I've been through a few of the small travel friendly tubes. This is definitely a heavy duty hand cream that I find a bit too thick for use during the day because like the foot cream, it takes a while to sink into the skin. In the evenings though, before bed I slather this all over my hand and really focus on the nails and cuticle areas where my hands really need it. Much like the foot cream, in the morning my hands feel a lot softer and it does a great job at combating dry skin.

Body Oil* // RRP NZD $21.49
Now I have a hard time getting used to using this oil. because generally when I get out of the shower I just want to moisturise as fast as possible and be done with it. This is more of a pamper, treat style product for your skin and is not something that would work on the daily. The oil has a light floral scent to it, with the main oil base being sesame oil. It suggests to use it on damp skin straight from the shower, but you can use it onto dry skin as well and I think it sinks in a lot easier that way. I could imagine this would be amazing in the bath, but I am really not a big bath person.

As a body care trio, these all do a good job at combating dry skin and would work well for all skin types. I think if you buy one of these three, the Foot Cream would be my pick of the bunch!

Have you used any of these products before? What did you think of them?
