MOST LOVED // August '14 - CassandraMyee

There is only one thing to be said right now, where was August? And how is it almost September? Yep, it's crazy; the end of the year is getting closer and closer as I type (which is very daunting!) Anyway, despite time speeding by, August brought along with it some pretty fine products that have become fast favourites, as well a couple of rediscoveries that I've been loving.

BEAUTY

MOST LOVED // August '14 - LORAC Pro Palette 2 - CassandraMyee
LORAC Pro Palette 2
No surprises on this one, especially if you follow me on TwitterInstagram or saw the haul post when I got this here. I've basically been raving about it any chance I get and am absolutely in love with it. The quality is out of this world and the colour selection is a beaut. I will have a full on review coming pretty soon, which will just consist of me drooling about how amazing it is (you've been warned).

L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Powder in W2 Light Ivory
I've been using this for a while and I keep meaning to include it in a Most Loved, and now finally it has its chance! I am 100% a powder girl and this one has been doing it's job really well. It has a hint of colour to it, goes on without looking like you have a ton of powder on the face, but it sets everything down really well. It lasts through the day, helps to keep the shine at bay and is great for touch ups. I am actually pretty close to hitting pan on this now!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Flush
I could rave on and on about these blushes for days, I have two other's (all the details here) and last month I managed to nab this shade off a makeup buy and sell page for only $20 - basically brand new! The colour looks very deep in the pan, but it comes off much more pinkier on the cheeks and is a blush I have been reaching for a lot through out August.

Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer
I've been getting into the habit of priming my eyelids all the time now and my current favourite is this mini-sized Stay Don't Stray from Benefit. The thing that I find sets this apart from other eye primers is that it is also designed to be used under the eyes as a primer for your concealer which is a brilliant idea (especially if you are prone to creasing like me!) The doe-foot makes it easy to pop a couple dabs around the eye and it is blends out easily, helps to even the lid colour out and works perfectly as a base for all sorts of shadows. This little mini is lasting me a while as a little goes a long way with this stuff!

Essie Blanc
I've always been a fan of white nails and in August this particular Essie polish spent about 2 weeks straight on my nails (with some reapplying, of course!) This is the best white polish formula I have tried as it goes on completely opaque in two coats and it doesn't look streaky at all, unlike some others I have used. There is an Instagram snap of it and I can tell this little white bottle is going to become an all-time fave.

FASHION

Colette by Colette Hayman Boom Crossbody Bag
Style and fashion wise I can't get enough of this bag from Colette. It's dubbed as a crossbody bag (it comes with a gold chain), but I've been predominately using it as a clutch bag. It's the perfect size to fit everything in, and the BOOM on it is just far too cool and I love the cartoon feel about it. You can check it out on the Colette website, warning though, it's a dangerous site and I have fallen in love with far too many bags now.

MUSIC + TV

Troye Sivan - TRXYE [EP]
Troye started on Youtube, and now here he is with an amazing debut EP that is flat out awesome. It has a Flume-like feel about, it's a bit pop, a bit electronica, and a whole lot of amazingness. Touch is one song I can't get enough of it, but the other four are all worth listening to. On repeat. All day.

Made In Chelsea NYC
Yes, I am thoroughly addicted to Made In Chelsea, and the new series, where they are sipping bubbles from rooftops in New York and strolling around Central Park, is everything I want in life! Plus the apartments they are living in are all my Pinterest dreams come to life.

Candidly Nicole
Another show I have been loving this month is from Nicole Riche (of all people!) It is part reality, part scripted and based off her hilarious tweets. I was surprised at how funny she is and the 20-minute episodes have me laughing so much, plus I love her pastel purple hair - a lot (could I pull that off...?)

And with that let us bid August farewell and bring on September. Let me know what products/food/TV/music you have been loving this past month!
