If you read Saturday's post of my June End Of Month Review (here), you would have seen this one coming! The Lust Have It July Women's Beauty Box* has just arrived, and it does not disappoint!
The July offering comes packaged in a gorgeous bright pink mesh bag, which surprised me as I thought they were all packaged in the plastic pouch like last months, but I much prefer this one! It is going to make a great travel makeup bag and a lot handier than the boxes that I have accumulated! If you are unfamiliar with Lust Have It, it is an Australian based subscription service that ship to NZ for free and it only costs AUD $19.95 a month. You'll get a mix of full sized and sample products, from a wide range of brands. The July box comes with six products, four full sized products and two samples.
001. Marsk Mineral Eye Shadow in Black Comedy // [RRP $24.95 (1.2g)]
Marsk is an Australian brand that have all 100% natural and mineral based products. This is a full sized of one of their mineral eye shadows in the shade Black Comedy and it seems to be extremely pigmented and ultra black! I always find these loose pigment products quite hard to work with, but I look forward to using this and I can see it making a really nice soft eye liner shade.
002. Mary Kay Lip Lacquer in Pink Pagoda // [RRP $22.00 (4g)]
I was so excited to see this Mary Kay Lip Lacquer included as they use this brand for all the makeup on Project Runway currently, and I've been wanting to try their products! This is another full sized product and it comes in a tub, equipped with a mini retractable and collapsible lip brush, that I've gotta say has an ingenious design to it! The shade is a bright, hot pink but seems to be quite sheer and it promises to provide high shine, as well as moisture to the lips.
003. Ardell Self-Adhesive Eyelashes // [RRP $9.99 per pair]
False lashes and I don't really get along, purely because I've only attempted to use them a few times and only succeeded in doing so once, but I really need to try more. These Ardell ones look perfect, natural enough but still have great length, and I am interested to see how well the self-adhesion actually works.
004. Lonvitalite C9 Crystal Moisturising Hand Mask // [RRP $7.50 per pair]
This has got to be the most intriguing product from the lot, these are mask for your hands - have you heard of such a thing?! These are a set of gloves that you put onto the hands and leave them on for 20-30 minutes and it promises to be highly nourishing and to smooth out wrinkles and replenish the hands moisture. I am really excited to try these out!
005. Happy Skincare 'Pig-In-Mud' Mineral Mask // [Full Size RRP $24.75 (40g)]
These have got to be the smartest foil sample sachets I have ever seen - they have a resealable top! They are two sachets of mineral face masks that should provide two applications, hence the resealable sachet. There is one sachet for Mature & Sensitive Skin and another for Normal, Oily and Combination and are both a dry powder that needs to be mixed with water before use. It also came with a large flat paddle brush to make applying it that much easier. I absolutely love this sample and really appreciate the small details that came along with it.
006. Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion // [Full Size RRP $79.95 (150ml)]
The last product is a 7ml sample of a face cream. I've heard quite a few good things about Aveda as a brand and have high hopes for this due to the high price tag of the full sized one! It promises to be quick absorbing with coconut, jojoba and other naturally-derived ingredients.
Lust Have It have impressed yet again with another well packed beauty box, and these are all items I can't wait to use! The total value of the box is around AUD $74, so approx. NZD $80, so for a box that cost $19.95 - it is really good value. Next month is the birthday box, so if you are interested in signing up for this subscription service you can use the code CASSMYEE to get $5 off your first month.
Have you used any of the products that came in the July box? What do you think of this subscription box; have you received any of the boxes before?
