RIMMEL | Moisture Renew Lipsticks in Vintage Pink + Nude Delight

Rimmel know their stuff when it comes to lip products; their Kate Moss lipsticks are amazing and the Apocalips have a bit of a cult following. The Moisture Renew line from Rimmel is one of their classics and they have recently had a revamp and repackaged, but the ones I have are in the older packaging, but still have the same great formula.

I have two shades, Vintage Pink and Nude Delight (a vlogger/blogger favourite). As expected from the name, they are very moisturising on the lips and glide on easily. They are pretty much opaque on first swipe and don't feel heavy on the lips. As lasting power goes, these aren't the greatest purely because of the creamy nature of the formula. BUT if you don't mind reapplying after eating or a couple of hours then it shouldn't be a problem. These would be particularly good if you have dry lips but still want a lipstick that is going to pack a punch with pigmentation, these are the way to go.

Vintage Pink is a much darker pink, closer to a purple I'd say. It makes for a great night-out colour or for the colder months. Nude Delight come off a bit dark in the tube and looks a little orangey in certain lights, but is a more browny nude shade. It pulls quite orange on my skin tone, but I find mixing it with a slightly paler pink lipstick or gloss makes a great nude shade.

You can buy these from ASOS for NZD $14.67 [approx.] (with free shipping) which are the newly packaged ones, or you can also get them on Beauty Joint for around NZD $9.50 (bear in mind there will be added shipping costs) but they have a large colour shade selection available.

Have you tried these range of Rimmel lipsticks? If so, what is your favourite shade?
