L'OREAL | Color Infallible Eyeshadow in Cosmic Black Review + Swatch

I've blogged about them before, and I'll blog about them again as they are just that good! You can see my first post featuring one of the L'Oreal Color Infallible Eyeshadows in the shade Tender Caramel here and today I am back featuring another shade called Cosmic Black. I managed to pick this one up from Farmers for only $5 in one of their clearance bins (unfortunately they only had the one shade, sad face).

These eyeshadows are more a semi-pressed pigment; they have a black inset which helps to compact the pigments down. I love these purely because they don't get so messy and you don't have loose pigment flying everywhere. The packaging is clear so you can tell what the shade is from the top and from the clear bottom; they're also small and easy to chuck in a makeup bag.

Now for the colour, Cosmic Black is a black base with gold glitter throughout. It has an iridescent finish and is incredibly pigmented; the swatch shows one swipe. It looks quite olive-y in some lights due to the gold and black together. Really it is just a stunning colour and looks great as a darker smokey eye; you can use it all over the lid for a quick and easy look, or dab the pigment over a black to really intensify the colour.

As with the Tender Caramel shade, they last all day, feel buttery and soft in texture and are incredibly high quality. You can get these from any L'Oreal counter, or find a cheap steal at Farmers or Postie, or at MyBeautyStore on sale for $15.00 [limited colour range though].
