iHerb is always such a tempting place to shop online, I've done numerous orders from there and it is a great place to buy Real Techniques (the cheapest I have found) and e.l.f. products, as well as other brands such as Eco Tools, Physicians Formulas among many others. This particular visit to iHerb was all purely to buy the RT powder brush and naturally a few other things jumped into my cart.
001. e.l.f. Studio Blush in Blushing Rose // USD $3.00
I have a couple of these blushes and I absolutely love them, so got a more darker colour that I think is going to be perfect for the cooler months that are on there way. This is a darker pink with hints of gold shimmer through it. They are very pigmented and only need a light hand when applying them, but they blend out well and last on the skin.
002. Real Techniques Powder Brush // USD $9.99
Real Techniques make a common appearance on here as I am obsessed with the brushes - I honestly don't know how I possibly applied any makeup properly before I had these in my life. The newest addition is the super larger, super soft and fluffy powder brush which has quickly become an instant favourite. As you can see in the comparison above (excuse the dirty brushes) how big the powder brush is compared to the Buffing and Blush Brush. It powders the face evenly and one quick swipe down the bridge of the nose, on the cheeks and chin and any setting powder is perfectly applied.
003. e.l.f. Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder // USD $3.00
A Shaaanxo enabled purchase, this works to help set undereye concealer as well as giving a little extra coverage and brightening the area. It is a very light pink colour, pretty much white and extremely fine powder that deposits a slight pink sheen when on the skin. As it is 'HD' it should help to diffuse light and look great on camera (yet to put to test). I've been loving it so far, I use my Real Techniques Setting Brush as it fits perfectly into the pretty tiny pot, and it just seems to brighten the under eye area and does prolong my concealer wear.
004. e.l.f. Studio Small Smudge Brush // USD $3.00
The brushes from this line are really great, I have a couple and they are usual features in my everyday makeup. I got this brush as I thought it would be great for smoking out colours especially along the lash line and for precise shadow application to certain areas. It feels soft but dense enough to really pack on the shadows.
005. e.l.f. Studio Contour Brush // USD $3.00
The last thing is another brush, this one also for eye shadow and it is larger round/domed brush. It will be great for crease colours or for a wash of colour over the lid. It is again super soft and great quality.
When you make an order, make sure you check out the Freebie tab at the top (link here) and you can add one thing to your cart. I got the face masks but they also threw in some post-it notes and a couple of probiotic capsules. Also you can use the coupon code RMM029 to receive $5 - $10 off (not an affiliate link.) I use the $4 shipping option usually, and it takes up to 3 weeks to arrive to me. If you use the $8.00, it generally is around a week to a week and a half.
