Yes, the oh-so-popular-always-out-of-stock MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter finally made its way back to Add To Cart status, and it straight away was being paid for and shipped off to me! I have been eyeing it up for so long and had come to accept that I will probably never be able to buy it due to its high popularity, but it seems they did a large run as it is still available on the website for only £3.00 [approx. NZD $5.80].
First off, I think what drew me to it right away was the gorgeous finish to the product, especially for something so cheap, generally I would not expect it, but MUA hit it out of the park with this one. The actual product itself lives up to its aesthetic, it is lightweight and not to pigmented so you can apply the perfect amount with the fear of the first brush stroke making you glimmer like a disco ball.
The colour verges on a pink champagne to a very light (and I mean very) lavender in some lights. I loved how it looked on the tops of my cheeks and it gave that almost natural glow that we all strive to achieve in our makeup looks, without being unnaturally shimmery or glittery.
I really love this product and I find I go between this and the Sleek Contour kit highlighter (which is more pearl/white in colour), so the MUA Shimmer Highlighter is a lovely addition to amp up the glow.
