I thought I would keep with tradition and review the ASOS Beauty Advent Calendar like I did last year. The 2016 offering was very impressive (see it here), and this year they just stepped it up another notch. I was kindly gifted this from my Mum and Dad at the start of December as one of my Christmas presents, so it really did feel like I was getting a present each day leading up til Christmas. In 2016, I had three beauty related advent calendars, and for 2017 I had two, this one from ASOS and an essie one which I will be sharing in a couple of days. For now - here's the ASOS unboxed and reviewed.

I adore mascaras; I love trying out new ones and I love ones that do as they promise on the packaging. I've been using this Rimmel Volume Flash Mascara on and off over the past few months, initially I didn't have a lot of hope for it but it has thoroughly impressed and surprised me!

This only arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon but I had to share it, as it's a) beautiful and b) currently on sale, and a total bargain!

Here's something you might not know about me, I have big feet. Big feet, that often result in a lot of shoes not fitting me or just looking super duper wrong, hence why I am very dubious about buying shoes online as more often than not, it always results in a mega fail. But despite all that, whilst browsing on ASOS (a common occurrence) I came across the New Look shoe section to find they stock UK 9 [NZ 11] in the majority of their shoes. I do own a pair of ASOS brand flats that are a UK9 and they fit really well, so I took the leap and initially ordered the boots, and then the heels not long after that. It is safe to say I love these shoes very much, and they fit like a dream.

I am a sucker for a cute clutch or bag and this ASOS Cat Ears bag was just to hard to resist! It is a great size for throwing in the essentials and keeping everything close at hand. Oh, and did I mention, it has cat ears on the top - I mean, come on!

Whenever Rimmel comes on sale on ASOS, I am all about that and was especially pleased that they had the new Stay Matte foundation and Stay Blushed! available online. I wouldn't ever consider buying Rimmel in any stores now, seeing as you can get it for almost a third of the price with free shipping on ASOS. [And I am all for a good bargain!]

So you may read this and think - a bronzing primer, really, is that necessary? At first I wasn't quite sure about it myself and it took me a few tries to make it work but the Bourjois Paris Bronzing Primer is a seriously good product and I shall tell you why...

Last week I indulged in a spot of ASOS shopping... it didn't help that I got an email to remind me that there was an up to 70% off sale, plus you could get it a bonus 10% your order. Let's just say I really didn't need the convincing! I ended up with over $500+ worth of clothing/accessories in my basket (I wish!), which slowly got whittled down to a more respectable $45, plus I saved $5. These 3 items arrived today (in a week!) and I'm super happy with them. All 3 are still in stock - so if you like any I'd grab it before they sell out!
